Am i the only one that's ecstatic about her possible inclusion? I find it annoying that literally ANY insignificant/background character that's in the comic is already assumed to be in the game by some people, BUT she's the one i am rooting for because of variety:

And by variety i don't mean "we need a black female!!" Or whatever, i mean gameplay wise. She's a kickboxer and i would love if she used real kickboxing techniques in the game, with no projectiles, etc. I'm sick of everyone and their moms in Mortal Kombat having a projectile and a teleport.
I think she could be possibly a new character in the game. I thought she added a good dynamic with Cassie in comic.

Jax is one of my favorite characters - now he has a daughter?

YES.

I'm excited to learn more about her as the comic rolls on. Her hairstyle is a standout to me; she visually reminds me of Queen Latifah's character in Set it Off. Speaking of Queen's character, I hope Jacqui has some of that same tough, hardened personality as an adult.

Bring it, Jacqui. And your dad too.

The more females, the better tongue

In a whole, I think she would make a good inclusion. She can borrow a few moves from Jax like Back Breaker, Dash Punch and Gotcha Grab. Those three moves can be implemented (done) differently.

My gut tells me she is going to get killed in the comic. Which would give both Cassie and Jax some xtra motive for MKX.

IF she does make the roster, I think she might be the fighter with the bow that Boon tweeted. The hand looks like a black female. Maybe She gets lost in the OutWorld wastelands and has to fend for herself. How crazy would that be? Krazy with a K. Jacqui the urban fighter turned Amazon Huntress

I'm really interested to see what they do with her if she is indeed in. Her kickboxing would make for a really cool moveset. I just hope that she gets a decent story line, and isn't just Cassie's sidekick. Also, I'm really curious as to what her Fatality would be, since so far, she seems more like the type to live and let live.

I like the idea but can't shake the feeling she's going to end up getting some sort of ability. I think Stryker's the only human character thus far who didn't have one but that was because he had guns and grenades, right?

Anywho, I too hope she makes the roster. It'd be nice to have more females and another ethnic character of any race is a plus.

The reason Jacqui doesn't get much love is because she's got literally the most generic appearance I've ever seen in a Mortal Kombat game and the least exciting gimmick - a real life fighting style... and that's it.

She'll probably be different in the game, but as of now she's a completely uninteresting bore to me. Her father's boring as well, but at least he's got robotic arms.

I think the MK series needs it, at least one character with no powers. There's so many 'superpowered beings' in the game, it would instantly make her stand out like the revamp of Stryker in MK9. Maybe if she got some insanely quick foot attacks and was able to juggle you that way, it would work pretty well. I think it boils down to I'm hella interested in seeing what they could do with a purely human character with no gimmicks in a game like this one where everyone is so fully fleshed out now.

That's exactly what would make her stand out from the rest of the cast, gameplay wise. I can see why people would find her boring storyline wise, but this is a fighting game after all and she can make for a very unique playstyle. She'll go the route of her father. End up with cybernetic legs come MK11. lol

I would love it. The game could use a more brawler type female character. I don't even mind if she's in and Jax is not. I'm curious too see where they go with her.

Exactly. Hope there are a lot less characters that teleport in MKX as there were 11 in MK9.

Along with Ferr/Torr, she's going to be the Darrius, Dairou and Nitara of this generation. In other words, completely insignificant and won't be remembered for another 10 years or so.

Plus it doesn't help at all that her design is as boring as corn on a cob.

I disagree about the powers thing tho. I think she could have some in the same sense that Jax or Sonya have powers. Making them energy based, maybe some energy kicks ala Juri.

And over 20 had a projectile (not including non-standard projectiles such as Noob's, Cyrax's, etc)

Can she for the love of God do something else other than follow Cassie around? I just really don't want her having to play second banana to Cassie like Jax did to Sonya. It would be extremely boring.

I still like the idea of there being bad blood between the two. That would be interesting.

People hanging out on half ass MK characters that were dumped from the franchise over 15 years ago, calling new gen kombatants insignificant. That's rich.

Unless one or both get killed off by the conclusion of the game I (for some reason) don't feel like Ferra/Torr will be another Dairou or Darrius.
