So a guy on gamefaqs said he knew someone that interviewed NRS and said that he is trusted. He said he knew the roster and that it was

Idk if its real or whatever. If it is im gonna be so fucking pissed. This is such an awful roster. We dint need Johnny, Liu, Sonya, Jax, AND Kenshi. One or two would do. If its true, the roster isnt going to be veru diverse and it makes me so mad. Where is Bo Rai Cho, Tanya, Fujin, Frost, Li Mei, Fujin, Sektor, Rain, Cyrax, Smoke, or Kabal. Any of them are better.

I have no doubt in my mind that because MK4 chracters are among the most requested that they are saving them for DLC which I reckon will be Fujin and Tanya

You should add "Possible spoilers" to your post title just in case.

Personally I think it could be legit, but I don't think 25 is the final roster number, we'd have 29 with the Kombat Pack DLC; but Boon said the main roster would be "as big as MK9's if not a little bigger"... So call it 28-30 main roster, we'd have 3-5 unknown/secret characters.

If this is actually legit then I think that'll just be the starting roster, not all the characters we'll have before DLC; so still a bit of hope for other characters including those from MK4 and over.

Having seen the original post of this, the guy never said he knew someone that interviewed NRS, he just said he knew someone that knew a tester. I don't think NRS would give the roster away in an interview. tongue

Why are people responding to this list as though, "Some guy on Gamefaq's says he knows a guy who talked to a guy at NRS" as though that were a credible and reliable source of info?

But we should believe it because he says he's reliable? Right?

Most of that is most likely true, not because the guy on gamefaqs was legit, but because those are the most obvious and most likely characters to be in.

Based on what was revealed in the last trailer, this...actually seems legit.

Mileena, Jax, Liu, Bowman, and Sonya were all seen in the tower.
Kenshi, Takeda, Jacqui and Erran seem to be major players in the comic.
Shinnok was strongly hinted at being in the game several times (Comic, end of MK9)

As boring as this roster wound up being...it seems legit to me.
Sure can tell there's an info drought with the sheer amount of fake info and pictures doing the rounds wink

That being said, this list seems pretty on the ball, though still just fantasy ,with all the characters pretty much expected from the comic book/web series/hints. Wouldn't be surprised if this did turn out to be the remaining cast.

It's a little too obvious though, no surprises, no left turns, just characters one could easily guess.

Gamefaqs is the ghetto of gaming message boards. It's nothing but 14 year old asshole trolls fighting over which console exclusive had the worst metacritic score.

Someone on gamefaqs is about as reliable as your friend who's uncle works at Nintendo and has played Super Mario Bros 6.
