I thought is was WAY cool for them to finally bring a rumored MK2 character to life.

She's more like a sammich.

Do blood assassins age? Will she be a living scab, at this point?

If she's off the table, it's probably not because she's incompatible with the high concept. Take that how you will.

It would be nice to see her get an actual personality...but personally, I wouldn't be upset if she was left out.

She should return, I liked her design. The percentage of her returning are not very high though.

I think she will be back, talking and have a story, I also think Tremor will be in too as he got soo much requests and was put in the Vita version, hope to see Rain too.
I'm not feeling the new characters so much, they don't seem like MK characters... but i guess all characters after MK4, didn't seem right

She was the best new addition to the MK universe since UMK3.
She fits perfectly. Ninja. Red. Blood. Shortswords.

I think they can do VERY big things with her storywise.
As she can transform into blood, what if she infected or possessed other characters? The perfect spy.

Skarlet was toast the moment she was created. She never struck me as a character they were keeping for the long haul. She was just supposed to be a nice throwback to the fictitious character rumors and nothing more.

I liked her and her overall vibe, I thought she fit in well. Boon recently responded to someone requesting Skarlet's returning on Twitter, saying "What's in it for me?"

One of the best characters! I really hope she returns! But chances are really slim

Her Hostal Fatality is so awesome and her powers over blood are really awesome! Hope Nitara didn't take her place!

If Quan Chi is there she does have a chance to be there at his side instead of Sareena.

I hope Skarlet is the only ninja-girl this time, I hope if mileena, kitana and Jade are in they aren't dressed as ninja's anymore.

I mean, a Vampire is WAY overused and overdone. Nitara always felt like a character that only was added because vampires are so popular...

Skarlet is different.

Skarlet was brought back for the sake of nostalgia, and not to mention she was yet another of Shao Kahn's pawns. I'd rather see characters that have their own unique agendas.

Many characters that started out as Shao Kahn pawns ended up bloody interesting (see Ermac, Kitana, Mileena and many others)

Skarlet has much potentional with her blood powers.

I don't hope that Boon wants to get rid of Skarlet and gives the overused vampire Nitara her powers over blood...

I think that's a bit unfair to go "Vampires is overused and overdone by other media! So they shouldn't be used in Mortal Kombat!". Ninjas are overused in just about every fighting game on the planet, does that mean we should stop having them? Hell if we did that would certainly include Skarlet.

Vampires in the MK universe is fascinating to me. I'd love to see their realm, how they coexist, who is in charge, where they get their source for blood ect. I don't think it's too much to ask for MK to do SOMETHING with it's one lone vampire girl. Nitara I would like to see more of.

Nitara is at least unique in the sense that she is the ONLY vampire in the series. Personally I find Nitara's story more interesting than Skarlet's.

I don't want this either, I'd rather she just absorb health with maybe one blood move but have a lot of moves regarding her wings.

I personally loved her, just want to know more of her story, and motivations. I really hope she returns.

That's the mentality and reason why a potentially great character like Nitara will probably never return. People rather see generic bland ass ninjas over interesting entities such as vampires and onis.

I pray Nitara makes it in MKX but I just know she'll be overlooked, as she always is.

Yeah, sad but I believe we've seen the last of Nitara.

Why?! WHY!?! is everybody so short minded and not open to more storylines that are different from their appearance storyline? :-p

I mean, stories are writen to be continued and to be changed! All kinds of stories can be turned and changed into something interesting.

And I see Skarlet as the only real ninja girl, the others are princesses, monsters and guards, but not ninja's anymore (at least I hope they aren't)

Also Nitara looks more like a Succubus, I wish she was one, Succubi are so much more interesting than vampires, I hate those things.

At least with the Enenra (a very NON_overused japanese smoke demon) it would have been cool if they named Nitara after a rare species of vampire like Vetala, Strigoi, Lilim, Moroi or Gylou.

But a normal vampire... boring!
