Havik as the final boss? No thanks.
Another thought:
Since the next 2 comic issues do not deal with Reiko and Havik's part of the story, that could indicate two things:
- they do not want to spoil that part since it will be in story mode and either one is boss.
- their part is not in story mode or only referred to so people will want to buy that comic to find out what really happened.
While the first would be awesome and give Havik and or Reiko a helluva shot at boss / sub-boss, the second is more likely.

Don't Ed Boon says that the final boss will be a funny surprise or something like that ?
So, if Havik, Reiko or Shinnok is the boss, it's not a funny surprise...

I really wouldn't mind Havik as the boss in story mode, I mean I think his has all the traits to potentially be the big bad. But I do think if they do go with Havik they will have to get it spot on in terms of his look and how they will get him in there.
If it's not him it's either Reiko or Lui Kang I think..
