That's movie rights though. I'd imagine WB still retains some form of rights over the I.P....plus, I can't imagine Paramount would have a problem with WB keeping the character out there if they are indeed producing a movie.

As much as I'd love Jason as the guest character, I can't shake the feeling that its gonna be a Mad Max tie in. There's just too much corporate synergy there too ignore. MKX in 2015 along with both a Mad Max movie AND video game(all produced by WB)...plus we have a Master Blaster inspired character already.

My picks... PS4- Sweet Tooth, XBOX1- Killer Instinct character, Both-...Mad Max(begrudgingly).

And I would rather have that than a horror character, to be honest. Even if it means you couldn't do Fatalities on the DCU guest character, I would rather have that than a horror character.

It would be a total waste if you could not see anything. Did you read what I replied to about Black Adam? That could be possible.

Why? Just curious. I don't want another horror character myself(and I'm a horror buff) I'd rather have a DCU character as well(Harley Quinn) but if it means no fatalities done on them then I'd definitely choose the horror character.

There's not one horror character I like. I find them all pretty lame. And I wouldn't want any of them in MK.

I don't find it important enough for Fatalities to work on the guest character that I'd rather choose a horror character than a DCU character.

All this said though... I don't want guest characters at all, but its already confirmed, so I accept that.

I don't want anymore horror film characters. It would be awesome if they added Raizo from Ninja Assassin. It makes scene cause the film is from WB.

Ah I see! Yeah I don't want guests either. There's really none that I'd want. All I want is a female guest this time at least but I'm sure it'll be another male. Boring.

The only female guests I could see working are Nariko from Heavenly Sword for Playstation, Orchid for Xbox, and Bayonetta as the DLC guest. Unfortunately, Nariko is too obscure, Orchid isn't the most popular choice from Killer Instinct, and Bayonetta is Nintendo exclusive now.

Not opposed to a female guest, but there aren't any I could see in MK besides these 3. And no DCU in MK ever again. Unless it's a standalone crossover.

Nariko being obscure isn't a problem. Appearing in a popular franchise such as MK could bring her more exposure, if being in PSABR didn't already do it. I've brought this example plenty of times in the past, but I'm sure that Captain Falcon's appearance in Super Smash Bros is what made him and the F-Zero series so popular.

But as far as female guests go, how about Aveline from Assassin's Creed 3: Liberation?

PSAS isn't nearly as popular as Smash. She was hardly used in there anyway because Kratos was so easy to use. The thing about Nariko is she's not very well known. Why would NRS want to use a character most people aren't familiar with?

Plus guests are usually there to promote something, Nariko has nothing to promote right now.

Alright, but what about Aveline from Assassin's Creed 3: Liberation? AC's a popular franchise, so a character from that series appearing in MKX could be beneficial to both MK and AC.
