It is inevitable, there will be a guest character in Mortal Kombat and not so long ago, Warner Bros. acquired the rights to Mortal Kombat, hence why we've had such great games such as Injustice, and MK vs DC.

Freddy Krueger is a character who is an intellectual property under Warner Bros. too, so with that in mind out of which Warner Bros. property do you think will give us our next guest character.

Is it Bugs Bunny? Neo from the Matrix?, Rorschach from Watchmen? Pinky and the Brain?

I would love to hear people's thoughts.

Not necessarily. I mean, Kratos isn't WB property.

Okay...but it's Sony's property, hence why it was exclusive to the PS3.. It's obvious OP is talking about the guest who will be in the season pass for all systems..

Depends on what kind of guest character you talking about, console-exclusive one (like Kratos) or just guest character (Fedya Krugger).

In the latter case, most likely it will be WB character.

Jason nor Leatherface.

I'd like to see "The Creeper" (Jonathan Breck) from Jeepers Creepers or the Reaper from Diablo III. I'm pretty certain that Diablo III is on both PS4 and XBOX ONE. If so, then that would be a good choice for the platform exclusives.

Can we have a female guest for once? Damn.

My choice would be a badass Harley Quinn.

No horror icons, please... Would much rather have a DCU character to guest MKX then.

Wasn't it already confirmed that MKX was going to have console exclusive guests?

As for the DLC guest, it probably will be associated with WB. If I could pick I'd choose Ash Williams from Evil Dead.

If that's the case, Orchid from Killer Instinct would be my choice for Xbone. ^^

Not sure. I don't think they choose guest characters randomly though. MK2011 came out in 2011 (Obviously) GOW3 came out in 2010 and the A Nightmare On Elm Street remake/reboot also came out in 2010. So I think they choose characters who usually have some sort of hype around them or have had a game or movie released somewhat recently.

Who else but Jason Voorhees would fit better in the tone of this game? That's who I want the most, and I believe that WB owns the latest movie rights.

We'll probably get 2 guest characters like MK9. 1 for all systems, 1 console brand exclusive, for ex. Jason on all platforms, Sweet Tooth for SONY, Fulgore for MICROSOFT.
I'm picturing Jason in MKX Running, Jumping, Flipping and doing the evasive interactables...

Hell no.

Paramount Pictures brought back the rights to Jason and the Friday The 13th franchise during the summer of 2013. They're currently working on a new film for release November of '15. So Warner doesn't have Jason, at least for the next 5 years(as that what the deal was made for but could always be extended). NRS had their chance at having Jason in MK during MK9.

Michael Myers (from Halloween) would be better.

DCU characters would not be a good choice because they will get killed off screen and we would not see the carnage. Refer back to the awful MKvsDCU.

I love DC as much as the next guy, if not more. But The main reason I was disappointed with Scorp in Injustice is I think Guest characters in fighting games are a good opportunity to play as a Non-fighting game character in a fighting game. So I'd rather just have any cool DC characters in the next injustice.

I think if it did happen and they choose someone like Deathstroke it would be fine.

Basically DC don't want to see Batman get decapitated or Wonder Woman have her entrails pulled out, but they do have some pretty dark properties that could be in an 18+

But as previously said, I'd prefer a non-fighting game character.

Yeah I wonder why they are ok with that stuff being in comics but not in games because I know I have seen scans of Black Adam literally tearing somebody in half lol

Dun care. I bet they can negotiate the rights to Ash Williams

Variation 1: Chainsaw Mastery

Adds some chainsaw moves, dealing some after damage after chainsaw these specials

Variation 2: Bucket a bolts: Adds some specials dealing with his plate metal robot hand. Punches Galore!

Variation 3: Book of the Dead: Adds some additional moves dealing with Ash using the Necronomicon, summoning demons, vortex's, or even making it fly as a projectile

That's pretty cool.

I bet (friendly) that if a DCU character was to be a guest, it would be Black Adam. Reason why, WB is making a movie about him and the one whom is portraying his character is Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson. To me, that is a blow-out and a disgrace to Black Adam. They could of gotten someone better.
Just speculation as Boon hinted early on that one of the guest characters will be a tie-in from a 2015 movie.

If this is so, that we get Dwayne Johnson as Black Adam in MKX, I'm so going to fatality him with every MKX character. Using all finishing moves as well.

That is actually a really good point. I didn't even think about that lol I almost forgot that they tapped him to play BA in the SHAZAM/Captain Marvel movie. Anyway, yeah I personally would be cool with Black Adam being in MKX as a guest but even though we haven't seen Dwayne's Black Adam yet I would prefer one based on his comic self. There is always that chance its an accurate portrayal of the character though lol Anyway BA really would fit in well IMO, he is brutal as hell lol
