...I'd probably have found away to get in good graces with the New Emperor, Kotal Kahn and have been working with Kahn doing whatever needed to have been done while still having connections with Earthrealm and somehow have been able too mix his cybernetic upgrades with Outworld Magic.

But somewhere along the line he fell out of K. Kahn graces and is now wanted in both Outworld & Earthrealm and is avoiding all authorities.

It bugs me that NRS will not revive Kabal using Kano whenever that may be. I foresee Kano blackmailing and strangle Quan Chi for ruining his funds from Shao Kahn. The final salt on the wound is taking his "retired" mate Kabal and possibly trespassing on Dragon territory when invading Earthrealm. I mean he has to be based somewhere right? Kabal could be evil again because it did happened before in the original timeline.
