Why is there a thread from 2006 on this board?

A couple ideas I had in mind (forgive me if someone already mentioned these)...

In the Special Forces stage, if there was a remote control either on the ground to pick up or if its lying on something prompts the fighter to press the button and a big ass gun pops up from the background and shoots the opposing fighter (could also be used as a stage fatality).

In the Netherrealm-like stage or any other stage where there are dead bodies on the ground, the fighter could pick up a thigh bone and use it as a club. Or if Moloch's severed head was on the ground, use it to chuck it at the opponent similar to the rocks used in MK4's Goro Lair.
