As long as PS3 players can play online against ps4 players, I'm fine.

And until ps4 becomes backwards compatible, I'm holding out.

Which may be forever.

I doubt ps4 will be able to play against ps3.

Do any games allow cross-gen play?

Either way, with sales on next gen consoles being what they are right now I'm surprised Warner are even bothering with old gen. It's time to move on folks.

People (myself included) may not be able to afford next generation consoles. Of course they can't release PS3 games for ever, but for the time being I think it's a smart move.

MKX will not support Cross-Gen online play. Guilty Gear does but both versions were developed by the same studio. That's not the case for MKX.

Also, no last gen versions of MKX have been seen. Likely because they don't fully exist yet.

Doom 3 was released on Xbox April 3rd 2005. Quake 4 using the exact same engine was release on Xbox 360 on November 18th 2005. If you look at both of those games the difference is incredible.

It will be how it was in the old days, like a console port of the arcade. I think the graphics will be slightly better then Injustice but many effects from Current-Gen will not cross over to Last-Gen consoles. If the team they have working on this does their job right then the last-gen version could actually be a good game.

However if they pull a Probe we could end up with a UMK3 situation like on the SNES and Genesis/Megadrive. Only saving grace of either of those ports was Rain and Noob Saibot.
