Hmm, I don't think their marketing team would allow that. I would think they want to show this product in the best possible light from a technical standpoint.

I'd like to see the differences too, but I don't think they'll let us, from a business perspective.

Differences for one will be the graphics.

MKX will most-likely play and feel like MK9.

Well information about the differences in Shadow of Mordor's and WWE '15's last gen versions were known before release. It's really anyone's guess as to when we'll know. It could very well not be until release.

I'm honestly concerned about the generational differences. Both of those games I mentioned had significant differences. Shadow of Mordor's last gen version was also delayed an extra month. Hopefully some light will be shed on this in the next month or so.

I think the only real difference is the frame rate will be less than it is in next gen consoles. It may also be a lot slower too.

framerate will be a solid 60 on both consoles. That's literally the only thing not to worry about.

It'd be nice if they'd tell us if there's going to be any bonuses, skins, characters, patches ect ect that will only be available to next gen. Because I went through that disaster with Reaper of Souls patch 2.1.0 which has an excellent amount of updates almost making it a whole new game but it's only available on the next gen.

Since that debacle, I've decided to buy a ps4, just in case, but I'm sure the information would still be appreciated by last gen users.

NRS have made it known since E3 they're making this game for PS4/Xbone. The port is being handled by third-party. General rule of thumb: Your best bet is to go with the now if you want to be in the action.

I knew NRS was focusing on current gen and outsourcing last gen, but I was holding on to hope that last gen wouldn't get screwed over on any material. Once RoS happened though, I made the decision to suck it up and "go with the [pricey] now".

However, I still think they should discuss these things because there are a lot of people, including last gen users, who are unaware this stuff happens.

I'm going to sound like a dick, but it's time to cut the apron strings for the last-gen people. The people with the older systems should expect an inferior product. I'm sure there will be plenty of comparison videos as soon as the reviews start coming out. If you have a new-gen system, you know what you're getting it for. If you don't, you don't have much of a choice.

I fully agree with you. Last gen people are still gonna get the same damn game but if the visual quality is a big deal to them they should start saving their money for next gen. Case closed, very simple.

Yeah, as soon as I heard Ed say that the last gen versions were being ported by another dev I ordered my Xbox One. Id hate to be stuck with the equivalent of one of the old console MK ports.

As long as PS3 players can play online against ps4 players, I'm fine.

And until ps4 becomes backwards compatible, I'm holding out.

Just something on my mind, what I think is that the Ps3 and Xbox graphics will still be great just not as good for Next-Gen, because when I went to PSX I was playing it on PS4 and it looked beautiful! What do you think the graphics will look like on Ps3 and Xbox 360

Okay we have officially crossed the line now where if you don't have a current gen system then do not buy the previous gen port because it will be an inferior product that is not worth your money.

You either have to buy a PS4 or XBONE or sit this out until you own one. Do not buy for the last gen. it will be an ugly glitchy mess.
