I'm surprised nobody else has mentioned Sub-Zero's (Unbreakable) face mask, maybe im just weird but that shit don't look right to me lol

They need to fire whoever is in charge of designing the characters. The outfits are usually fine but the faces and female body designs almost always look really off. I mean, everyone doesn't have to be a super model, but it's not even just a matter of attractiveness. Many of the faces just look weird. I beggining to think it is an mk tradition.

Quan Chi's been summoning sketelons for so long, he even does it in his won pose, but now that they choose to give him the power to summon something during gameplay it's a bat? Not even a skeleton bat?

And Sub-Zero's unbreakable mask troubles me, because that is the variation I like the most, but I hate that mask!

1. Character select screen is about as generic as they come. I like the animation portions at the top, but the portraits are just generic front facing models. Why can't they have an artist actually spice up their portraits ? And why have spaces between boxes ? The portraits could look bigger if they put everything together.

2. Cassie Cage's outfit is also super generic. It's basically Nina from Tekken. I would have much preferred a more tactical style outfit rather than a generic blue vinyl body suit.

3. NRS ... Please stop using men to move woman. Cassie's animation after her fatality when she puts her hands on her hips looks goofy as hell.

Ok Ermac. I HATE the way he/they look in this game. Don't get me wrong. It's a really cool look for a different charcter entirely, but that's just it. Ermac now looks like a completely different character. I may play him once, twice maybe even 3 times a lady but that's it. Can't get past the look. Looks are a really huge thing for me. Hopefully his alternate is leagues better than this.

Why does Quan Chi's skulls come from his face instead of his hands this time?? And don't give me the whole "oh Idk, maybe because they are skulls! And it makes more sense for skulls to come from his skull, did you think about that?!"

Yes I did think about that and it's stupid. Most projectiles look a lot cooler coming from the hands. Or should Sub-Zero start shooting ice balls from his face as well? His balls maybe?

Since we're on the subject of projectiles, why does Sub-Zero throw his ice balls with one hand instead of two? Same with Reptile and his "force/acid balls". Is this supposed to be them showing off? Because if it is, I'm not impressed. Doesn't look cool to me.

They really need to explain why Sub-Zero would put a block of ice that was carved into a mask over his face.

Kotal Kahn, Ferra/Torr, Cassie Cage and D'Vorah are all new and different. I have no issues with them. I think they're awesome!

Furthermore I love the fact that MKX is looking to the future and being aggressive and ambitious with this game and believe that this can possibly be the best Mortal Kombat game of all time.

So to answer your question. No. I'm not mad because everythings different. I welcome different. The new kharacters like Takeda, new stages new modes new story, bring it on baby!

I just have OPINONS and little pet peeves about certain things(like Ermacs look for instance)

Some fatality animations have guts and brains spilling out while others (Kung Lao, ferra/torr, quan chi) just sit there like sliced meat. Why didnt they put that much detail in all of them?

I wish the announcer said "FINISH THEM" whenever you defeat Ermac.

& I still say that they need more techniques to differentiate variations more. Scorpion, for example, needs more attributes for his Ninjitsu variation, such as the use of shurikens, makibishis, kusarigama techniques incorporated with his spear, etc. They might as well called the variation, "Katana"

I'm not bothered or disappointed by the Kollector's edition.

Having a fatality pass in MK is SO un-MK. Irks the shit out of me.

In general though, my main complaint is that the returning characters are just not revamped enough. I remember when I first saw Kung Lao in MK:DA, it felt like a brand new character yet with the same familiar feel. I miss that feeling.

Unpopular thoughts :

I really like the name KASSONYA BLADE for Kassie Cage.
I also like "Jacqueline Briggs", for Jacqui.
And "Trollanya" is a funny alternative to Tanya.

All of these nicknames are my inventions, not official at all, of course lol.
If you don't like it, I don't care. I'm letting you all know right now.

I just wish every variation came with a completely different costume/appearance. I know it would upset a lot of people who's favorite costume doesn't match their favorite variation, but I still think it would be a really nice detail.

I think the fat red dragon guy from issue 1 have a chance to become the punching star of the MK universe and possibly even gain a cult status. His dialogue with Sub-Zero and the aftermath of it just sold this guy for me.

All the females we've seen so far (Cassie, D'Vorah, Sonya, Kitana) have giraffe necks. I didn't mind it on Cassie and D'Vorah, but now that every girl has it is weird, especially Kitana and Sonya since they didn't have it before.

Yeah they should make it break off his face like the end of the MK X reveal trailer

Um, I dont like the dark eyeshadow on Kitana's eyes in one of her variations. It looks like she got two black eyes. Other than that I don't have no other complaints
