On that subject, in regards to the final fight with the Deadly Alliance, I don't think there was any formal challenges thrown around. From the way it was described in Deception, it sounded like the heroes just stormed Shang Tsung's Palace and it was a big melee with the heroes, the Deadly Alliance, a couple dozen Tarkatans and maybe even some of the Dragon King's army.

If that’s what he ment then I agree. Thanks for clearing that up XiahouDun84, and I agree with your points, it seems that the end of MKDA was something like a massacre. Tons of dead Tarakatans lying around hints that possibility IMO, no formal kombat.
Yes Quack-Wabbit, now that I understand your point I 100% agree. Im not sure about Jax, but Sonya is definitely the bitch who would just run to kick your ass without wasting her time in formalities when the fate of the world is being decided.
