Every character from the newbies to my favorite returning to my least favorite returning look amazing. I've already been a Kenshi, Johnny, Liu, Ermac, Lao, and Scorpion fan, but this game might turn me into a Kano, Sonya, Milleena, Reptile, and Shinnok fan. And for what seems like the first time ever, I can see all the new characters returning for the next game.

The story seems amazingly deep with all the cameos and mystery about it. The good humans versus the bad monsters plot seems to have finally faded away. Also, I'm glad to theres next to no wasted motion. It seems everyone who is there has a purpose to be there.

The gameplay looks to be the best the series ever has. Brutalies have separated themselves from the other finishers. Variations offer new and complex strategies. Intractables change the stages from purely cosmetic to influential. Finally, the Fatalities look more brutal and cinematic than ever.

I am SO ready! Bring it on baby! Speaking of his arms, I wonder if he will have a variation or alternate with bionic arms to replace the ones that Kotal Kahn removed. Or maybe they were restored with some kind of magic?

me too since it was announced i've been checking this site, TYM and TRMK sites everyday literally for any photos or gameplay of the characters but when KITANA WAS OFFICIALLY CONFIRMED I WAS LIKE fuck it and i pre ordered it when i saw i could. i'm sorry but she was the one that got me into to pre ordering it right away but i'm usually the one who tries out everyone but i've never really touched mokap, drahmin much i think i have tried Hso Hao or whatever his name was but i'm not sorry i did not really care for them.

but im like totally excited like my 2015 so far *knocks on wood* has been great

i agree i'm kind of bummed out that there isn't like stage fatalities like before and there isn't alot of stages but oh well it does not stop me from loving this game

Yeah I really hope they explain how he got his arms back in his Bio in the game maybe or somewhere else like the comics. I hope when Goro gets his arms back he will be the badass he was supposed to be before Kotal Kahn made him look like a pussy.

I like Kotal Kahn but come on, they could have fed Kotal Kahn someone else to show that he is powerful instead of Goro. :(

Glad to hear it! It's been a great year for me as well, honestly it doesn't seem like the wait for this game was that long. 11 days? That was quick! PS4 or XBOX ONE? (This is a question for anybody else as well) I'm PS4.

me too i got ps4. but i'm not a online player though sounds lame but i suck at fighting and i know every person i would play would kill me in 1/2 sec. i mean i will do the choosing the group thing but online play i don't know i'm still debating what team i want to join

Lol! Yo Kotal didn't even have to do that. He had already won me over when he saddled up on a T-Rex! But when he did Goro dirty like that lol, I'm sorry but it made me love the guy even more. Kotal's a straight G. That was cold bro lmao

One can argue that Kung Lao did the same to Kintaro but the huge difference is that Kotal kept Goro alive lol... I guess that really is messed up:/

Lol it's cool. I'm not the best either (YET), I just love playing MK. I was really considering the Lin Kuei but assuming that the deadwoods is its background and it's been overused, I might go with something else for the sake of freshness. White Lotus perhaps.

Don't let my Reptile complaints topic fool you, I'm really super excited about MKX. Aside from my personal gripes about Reptile, I think the rest of the roster is solid. NRS did a tremendous job giving us a fresh yet familiar take on the returning characters.

Even with my underwhelming feelings with Reptile's variations, I'm still dedicated on making him work. The love for any character is greater than small gripes and tier lists imo (yes I know that was corny). I'm 100% in.

I'm also thinking of picking up other characters that I've never thought I'd ever be interested in: Sonya, Kenshi, Liu freakin' Kang. Tanya I'm looking forward to as well and I've never played a game where she was in it!

The newbies like D'Vorah and Kung Jin are also on my radar as they seem to fit my play style. Unlike with Injustice where I had trouble picking up mains for months, here I have so much to choose from. It's a good problem to have.

I'm just happy Reptile is in the game. And yes, I'm super STOKED.

for sure. I enjoyed the speculation just as much as anyone, but i'm ready to finally play honestly. It's getting to the point where i'm bored of watching footage, it just makes me want to play more.

Shinnok is in. That's pretty cool!

I'm really digging the variations and brutalities, Fatalities seem to have been stepped up. Gameplay wasn't the leap I was hoping for but still and improvement, I'm interested to see how stamina plays out. The new out world characters look fantastic, hell I've even come to accept our cheesy ninja cowboy friend... I feel the opposite about the new kids on the block however I think Takeda looks great, I just would prefer if he doesn't open his mouth. Female design was greatly improved. The arenas are looking good and the stage interactions should be fun. New modes look great. Truth be told I think the story looks painful, no time travel has to be an improvement though lol.

Also they made Kano look not dumb... that's something in itself right there.

I'm so excited but at the same time disappointed.It's been SO much fun reading everyone's posts,everybody's speculation,Ed Trolling,all the reveal videos especially Quan's(watched that thing a hundred times)the netherealm casts,and the comics(hope they endure).Thanks to MKO for making this MK countdown a blast.It was nice to see people excited for their favs(hope everyones favs make it(dlc)).Mortal Kombat forever y'all!!!

I love the roster. Nearly all my favorites are in with the exception of Sindel, Cyrax, Smoke and Shao Kahn.

I like the variations ideia, however I could come up with better ones for some characters like Reptile, Sonya, Kitana, Quan Chi, Shinnok and Ermac.

And all the staples are in (the main cast is the MK1 and MK2 characters, the playable ones at least, the exceptions being Shang Tsung and Baraka), half of them will return in the next one as well.

They took the best 3D era characters, the only ones missing are Fujin and Havik, I won't miss the rest and I doubt we will ever see some of them again (like Nitara, Drahmin, Hsu Hao, Jarek, Kobra, Kira, Dairou, Darrius, Kai and Malvado come to mind, they may show up in the comics).

I love all the stages we got, sure there are only 13 but those are the most detailed and gorgeus stages we ever got.

The Story Mode is amazing, it really looks like a movie and you can tell they had a bigger budget this time. The fight scenes are also much better this time around and I'm glad that this will be the game with most cutscenes in the franchise.

For most beat em you games I have 2 or three characters that I want to get good with and until Tanyas release I wasn't sure who I'd main with this game, but as I now know she will come later, I will have loads of time to get good with other characters before I settle

I'm a gonna practice lots with ferra torr, d'vorah, mileena, kitana, takeda, jaquie, Sonya, ermac and erron.

Then when Tanya comes out I'll main her

I.bought an xbox 1 just for this game and Iv taken the day off work to plow into story mode. Iv planned a game gaming party a week after release (once Iv had time to practice) to have a social gaming night, and I'm planning on actually becoming good with the game-i usually play on medium difficulty but I realise Im
Gonna have to up my game

i'm glad people on here for the most part have some issues but overall are happy.

i'm glad that if someone's favorite is not in the game is still going to be shown in the story mode, and then there is always Mk11 lol

I love how almost every fighter's full potential is being realized in this game.

This game is making it hard to just chose one fighter to main.....fucking love it!
