Here is how to make real fatalities NRS! Take note! (links to pics)

Hey guys, I am new here, Just wanted to share something with you all.

I feel NRS is not ready to push the boundaries with fatalities and they will suffer, ajd we will get a bunch of vertical slice kills...Just as mk9 was all torso rips and vertical slices...Seeing reptiles utterly disappointing end to his otherwise awesome fatality, got me very mad and worried.... I mean, he should have crushed the acid soaked head into a mushy pile of skull and brain matter, I cannot tell you how silly and down right stupid seeing reptiles clawed hands make a perfect vertical incision down the victims head as if a lase did it...For a Triple A title, I expect a lot better.... Some may not agree, saying they a minor point of the game, but I say why half ass them?

Any way I sat around for about 30 mins, and came up with much better ideas for their fatalities, and sketched them up... If I can do it why cant they? I am trying to make them unique, as I feel they all, these days share way to many similarities, already we have 4 vertical slice fatalities, KL,FT,QC and now reptile....I hope they chance his though....Any way....I start with my reptile idea....Tell me what you think....Thanks guys.

If they can do what they did with scorpions an devorahs, i really dont think any of my ideas would be hard for them at all...

I don't know why its such a big deal to expect more out of such a big game, and I totally have faith that their devs could pull it off.... I think maybe they are just lacking ideas from doing it for so long....

Tell me ya'll wouldnt want to see kano behead some one like that? It totally fits his nature lol

I really like the idea of the Reptile and Ferra Torr ones. They would be really gruesome to watch on screen!

The Kano one would probably stir up some unwanted controversy for the game. Its already going to be pegged for its violence, MKX doesn't need a political debate to go with it.

To be honest i was suprised after seeing the first 2 fatalities that the 3rd one doesnt have anything to do with the opponents junk. tongue

Not bad stick figure concept fatalities. However, NRS will create their fatalities as they see fit. It's their game.

I like to think that it's so clean because of Reptile's skill in assassination, and has the ability to rip in half a head that clean. People make a big deal out of everything.

Did you ever see a guy being beheaded? I saw a real Video and wished i never saw anything of it again. Just no. No and No again! You know why i like Mortal Kombat? Because his violence is way over the top and not realistic. And this is good the way it is. I don't want an ISIS style of beheading someone. Pls no.

I was thinking the same thing. I thought the part where the victim crawls away backwards separating their torso from their lower body was a pretty good idea, I can picture it in my head and it looks glorious lol

The kano one, I only labeled it ISIS style so people would get what I meant it to look like, instead of a normal decap, I really dont see why it would be looked at as political...

Samurai used to behead people this way, started from the back of the neck, not the front...It aint like ISIS does the exclusively...I just knew by name dropping it, as its in all the headlines people would imagine how brutal this would be...

I think it would push boundaries, something mk has not done since mk1-2

As for Kano. Controversy? Yes.
But Fatalities need some flair to it. All Kano is doing is struggling to cut through someone's neck. Besides possibly taking too much time for a simple fatality, but in the end, it's just another head decapitation fatality that I feel we don't need. About as lack luster than another heart rip fatality.

that works, I just kept the tongue out of this one, coz I had another idea using his tongue, but thats awesome man

Also I think if kano was to carry this out, like an isis beheading , it would not at all look like a regular decap ahaha would be brutal as

I don't like any of the Three fatalities shown.

Number one is just Reptile spitting acid plus hsu hao's fatality ending from mkda plus sub-zero's from deception.

The "I choke you with your own intestines" idea is several years old and was purely fan made
After all these years if Ed Boon didn't put in the game there is a reason: he can't use it, he doesn't like it or simply he doesn't care about it.


And the beheading one : the millionth decapitation void of creativity and out of logic even for an illogical fantasy game like mk. Cmon Johnny can behead you with an uppercut and Kano needs 60 secs to do the same with a knife?


People needs to understand that MK is a 35 million seller for a reason. It doesn't need to change, but to improve which is different.

To avoid the controversy, Kano could also stomp on his opponent's back and then pull the head off. The idea of him tossing it away is just so Kano.

I would respect the OP's effort and his/her ideas.

MK is all about violence and ideas in your head, so hey, anythings better.


I DO have a lot of them since I've been participating on number of different site's Kreate a Kharacter Tournament including mine that REQUIRES the unique Fatality, but the more the merrier and I hope NRS can also take some fan's ideas into a reality as well.

Some narrow minded opinions from some. So only people who work at NRS are good at creating fatality's, right? Only game-developers/game-designers are the ones who can create a good game?
Because you don't work in that industry, it doesn't mean somebody isn't able to be creative in those ways.
And no, Ed Boon isn't the only one who could come up with a game such as this.

This person did a good effort in creating some. You can always improve it here or there, but that doesn't mean these aren't good fatality's.

There was a guy who made really awesome fan art fatalities long time ago. That's how you do fatalities. I forgot what his name is. Can anyone here tell us and post the videos I wanna watch them again and see if he still make better fatalities tha nrs :D
