Scorpion's Deception bio:

"In my haste to confront my nemesis, Quan Chi, I was ambushed by two Oni and cast into a powerful soulnado. I would surely have been torn apart by the souls trapped there had I not managed to escape into the Void. It was there that I first set eyes on the fabled Elder Gods. I would be forever changed by this encounter.

While in the void, I witnessed, along with the Elder Gods, the death of Raiden and the re-emergence of the Dragon King. Suddenly aware of my presence, the Elder Gods transformed me into their servant and gave me a new purpose: to prevent the Dragon King from merging the realms. "

Elder Gods didn't save him, he basically saved himself and just happened to bump into them. True story

I doubt Noob would have such luck.

It's also noteworthy that Scorpion still wouldn't have come back without them. he was stuck in the void, which is outside of any of the realms. Even if Bi-Han managed to reach the void before being torn asunder, the odds that the Elder Gods would save him seem slim to me. It has been well established in this timeline that the Elder Gods don't like to intervene in mortal or immortal affairs. They don't give a shit. lol.

Yes, Noob Saibot will one day be back. But I expect it won't be any sooner than MKXII.

So if the boss is going to be Blood God Reiko...I guess another Shao Kahn ripoff boss battle? If so, then so long to any unique character development they gave Reiko in the comics. I have a feeling he'll have Kahn's hammer...

If Reiko is going to be playable, blood god or not, I assure you one of his variations will include the Wrath Hammer.

I've been saying this since launch that Havik would be the Boss or secretly controlling the final boss.

I stand by my prediction of 4 unlockable characters

Baraka
Havik
Rieko
Fujin

Ed said the final boss would be a "surprise returning character."

He's been in one game and most of the casual fanbase doesn't really know who he is, plus he's in the comics, so therefore his return wouldn't be much of a surprise.

Seriously, it's Shinnok.

You guys are thinking way too much about this. Remember the new "-ality", and how much speculation was going on in regards to that? In the end that just turned out to be a dud (and a major disappointment). Ed is hyping it up as usual with his "surprise, returning character" quote. The answer is simple = Shinnok.

Don't get your hopes up for an obscure like Havik.

The neatherrrealm war ends after maybe chapter two. Quan chi could be in story longer but Shinnok im, not sure. I really doubt he's the final boss. It'll be lame. Havik or Reiko I could see. Or better yet Liu possessed lol. I'd rather have an, unplayable boss though which points, to Reiko or Havik so far.
Maybe a blood god possessed Kenshi or havik possessed Kenshi , I don't think it's Liu anymore small chance it's havik zero percent chance it's reiko.

I'm thinking:

1. Shinnok (judging by chapter 1 story)

2. Havik (judging by the comics)

3. Possessed Fujin (he's so detailed, yet unplayable. And is still a god)

4. Reiko ('blood God'). (Tho after skarlets creation, any character deemed 'blood God' is redundant

5. Shang Tsung (resurrected)

I think it would be kind of lame if it was "just Shinnok" since he sort of gets his ass kicked on Chapter 1 as we saw on the story video. However, there is one thing we could consider, as seen on Mythologies Shinnok does have a "True Form". So perhaps Shinnok + Kamidogu = Uber Shinnok as final boss? Havik as the sub-boss helping him? Although it wouldn't make much sense for Havik to help him since Shinnok would pretty much just destroy everything...
