I feel like Johnny Cage does Noob better than Noob does himself.

Why do people think a certain character is ruled out when a confirmed character has similar moves? Cassie and Cage BOTH have a fucking nut punch. Scorpion basically has Sub-Zero's freeze move. He doesn't throw an ice ball but summons a demon from the ground instead, yet it is basically the same move in that the point is to stun the opponent for a free hit. Noob could easily get his own set of shadow moves with different properties.

Kinda sucks. I like Bi-Han, Sub-Zero or Noob Saibot versions. Oh well :/

That, and almost everyone in MK has projectiles and teleports like they're going out of style.

Holy shit, so many people were given teleports that didn't have them. Sub-Zero had one in MKvsDC, and in MK9 as Cyber Sub-Zero. Scorpion straight up just lobs fireballs now.

Liu Kang deconfirmed tbh.

Nah, they'll just turn Kang's counter from MK9 into a straight up teleport and he'll have a variation similar to Raiden.

With regards to Baraka, the character itself is unique and iconic, that is just fact. There is no other character like him and everybody knows it. The problem is indeed that he looks exactly like the rest of his 'race'. That is however what NRS did wit him, not what his character "screams" (blandness).

NRS could easily have him stand out and have some new facial and general body features, some form of helmet, garb or whatever to make him be the King of the bunch. Hell, if they could come up with a story where Baraka is killed by one of his own who has hidden away or whatever, I'd be all for it.

Is it me or does masked subzero look more like bi han than quai liang?

Maybe there a skin for both subzeros.

Ever since Jade was de-confirmed, I pretty much assumed Noob would bite the dust as well, so this isn't really surprising.

Don't wanna use the opportunity to bash on the character but he's always been Scorpion-lite to me.

I always was felt he was awkwardly forced and misplaced in the original trilogy storyline. Like,


Quan Chi: "You know that opposite clan leader your brother killed years ago?"

Sub-Zero: "Yah"

Quan Chi: "Well I turned him into a hell spectre who is out for revenge now"

Sub-Zero: "Well, shit...."

Quan Chi: "But since he in turn killed your brother, I decided to make him too into some shadowy ghost whom for some reason ALSO wants to kill you."

Sub-Zero: "Okay...........why?"

Quan Chi: "Don't know really, I guess because Scorpion is a dick always doing his own thing and this guy actually listens to me"

Maybe Bi Han after the Soulando goes after Quan Chi to Free Kuai Liang. And Maybe Noob Saibot gets expand on more and other shadow like wraith, some good and some evil become more exposed.
