You mean like everyone? I don't get why Jade and Noob Saibot fans are upset. It's not like any stays dead for good in this series. Besides, they're MKII hidden characters. They're bound to show up again eventually.

1) The Sub we all thought was Bi Han is actually Kawaii Liang (unfortunately)

2) Johnny cage has a stunt variation which is pretty close to what Noob had with his clones and thus rules Noob out from the game.

I know about Kuai and always felt it was him personally (I still think masked, unscarred sub could be BiHan) But I don't think Johnny's variation rules out Noob at all. A lot of characters are sharing similar moves across variations in this game. So nothing official then.

There's always dlc . Sucks considering he would of fit in with the story there trying to sell (nether realm / shinnok beginning ) , however I feel when he comes back he's not going to be the same at all .

How many of the last few games has Noob Saibot been in? It will be okay for him to sit out one Game. Believe me as a Human Smoke fan... I waited over a decade to get him... and it was well worth the wait!

By that logic shouldn't johnny, Sonya, Jax, raiden, scorpion and subzero all sit out a game because I can't rember the last game they missed!

It is very sad that they would drop Noob Saibot arguably one of the most popular characters in the series just to give stupid old johnny another variation but I have faith that Noob will still make it probably not main game but surely he has to be DLC his popularity would go a very long way in terms of sales for nrs.

I am smoke fan too and would love his inclusion but as I am sure you know full well NRS doesn't seem to like including him in games for some reason! Maybe seeing how sub zero is kuai liang might help his chances as sub zero may fight quan chi for his soul back or something during the story but I am doubtful he will be in unfortunately. Maybe DLC but I think it will be between him and Noob and who would make more money

I don't get why people all of a sudden with the reboot think death matters now when half of the dead are living again and the rest are being seen as Revenants. Because Jade's moves are part of Kitana's for one game? Because Noob got kicked into a Soulnado?

It's even stupider that people accuse you of being an "upset fanboy" if you point out that death never keeps anyone, especially not characters from the first three games gone permanently in this series. I'm not saying they'll be in this one, I'm just saying they don't stay gone permanently, no matter what the reason. That's just how the series. They're not getting rid of the characters that made their first three games popular forever. Gameplay wise they'd limit their potential and sales wise they'd limit themselves because they need some recognizability.
