The February issue says the next issue will have a huge section on Mortal Kombat X. They don't promise a reveal but hopefully something.
I usually get the next month's issue around the 15th NOTE: The magazine dose say that it will be on sale on 3 FEB 2015 mortal KomBat x pub Warner Bros dev netHerrealm studios ReLeASe 14 apr Netherrealm’s promisiNg scrapper has us screamiNg “FiNish it!” After a decade in the doldrums, NetherRealm successfully refreshed the Mortal Kombat series in 2011 with the most literal reboot of all time – Raiden using his amulet to wish himself backwards through time, back to the day of the opening Mortal Kombat tournament – in the process undoing years of Shao Kahn-inflicted storyline carnage, and years of gimmick-inflicted gameplay carnage, too. NetherRealm’s ‘back to basics’ approach is complemented by a deceptively tight fighting system that makes it simple for even the most casual players to pull off big, crowdpleasing moves, yet also provides enough strategic freedom to make bouts beefy enough for competitive expert play, too. The overall feel, then, is of a fighting series on the up, and NetherRealm aims to build on these solid fundamentals in this, the studio’s first Xbox One offering. Set several years after the 2011 retelling, Mortal Kombat X sees the core fighting roster return older, wiser and more battleworn – so they really won’t be especially happy that the action runs in 1080p at a silky-smooth 60 frames per second, so we can all get a good look at those wrinkles, saggy bits and scars. But there are some fresh faces amidst the more familiar fighters, too – our favorite being D’Vorah, an insect/ woman hybrid with a complexion akin to that of a bee, and a set of stingers running down her spine. Other newbies include Kotal Kahn, a perpetually angry Aztec god with glowy tattoos and an eye on Shao Kahn’s Overworld throne, and Cassie Cage – daughter of Johnny Cage and Sonya Blade, who clearly didn’t let the wrinkles get in the way of getting down. Fists itching for a Fatality? Expect a full hands-on/ spines-out report in the not too distant future.

Noice!
So it does indeed seem like the info is starting to flow rather than trickle...I hope anyway.

With the amount of time left before release, they could reveal a character every single week and still not have shown the whole roster.

I've heard rumours that the reveal in Xbox magazine might be Scorpion, I know I know there's little to no hope he will make it into the game but it's just what I heard from my neighbour who works with someone who's cousin is friends with Ed Boon

I'm happy with the way the reveals have been slugging along. I know most people would love to hear about their favorite returning, so I get it. But damn it makes me happy to not know much, if this is their plan then I hope no leaks happen. At this rate i'm fully ready to not know more than half the roster until I put the game in. So pumped.

Idk about this. There were characters in the injustice comics that were never in the game. Captain Cold, Dr Fate, Scarecrow, Constantine etc
Although I'm extremely excited to read the comic. I hope it's as good as the Injustice comics.

To be honest, I didn't follow the production process of Injustice or its comics so I don't know how many characters were revealed or when. I bought Injustice a few months back when it was like 4 Euro's on Steam and still have to play it. That pretty much sums up my interest for it.
But I find it hard to believe that more than half the roster won't be revealed prior to MKX's release. I am fairly certain the roster will contain more than 24 characters and they've only revealed 11 while the game releases in three months.
Btw, were all characters revealed for Injustice before release?

Its nice to see people that still feel way. I get the people on the other side of the coin, but there is something about unknowns in a video game that takes me back and gets me even more pumped for a game.
At this point, I have no doubt the game will be great. NRS has earned my and hopefully everyone's trust with their last couple of games.

Agreed. And at the end of the day, if you REALLY must know before you figure it out or find it on your own, I guarantee all secrets will be spilled on any number of gaming websites the DAY OF release.

+1
When someone scoops us this magazine, and Goro is indeed in it, I'll be the first to fly to my nearest magazine stand. As if my signature doesn't already say so, but of the revealed characters, he's single-handedly the character I'm MOST interested in.
And because of the pre-order deal, I would think that definitely warrants a trailer. Perhaps even more so than the few who have already gotten one.
