Dude ive been also thinking about this theory as well i hope it turns out this way fingers crossed :3
Its a cool theory, but I'm willing to put money on Fox being possessed by Kotal. He is a blood god after all, and he seems to have a thing for cutting himself. The way that the voice possessing Fox was going on about the "blood code" kind of leads me to believe that its Kotal trying to get his hands on the Kamidogu.

Thing is, this doesn't really sound like Kotal at all or fit with how he's been characterized. He's a proud, honourable warrior, not some crazed demon who loves tormenting and killing people. There's some stuff in Chapter 3 that also really, really points at it not being Kotal.

I hadn't read chapter 3 yet, but now that I have, it really doesn't sound like Kotal. Still, the whole "Blood Oath" is very interesting, and it seems to be the way that the Kamidogu function now. If it was the Kamidogu of Chaosrealm being kept at the Scorpion's hideout, then maybe I could see Havik being that entity.
It would be a really neat concept, honestly...which means that Nether Realm probably won't use it.

ok so, no idea why but last night it occured to me, and mind you all i haven't yet read #3...but....what if fox is getting possessed by noob saibot....has him slaughter the shirai ryu...maybe even takeda who knows....and then fully takes him...getting a new body and becoming the new sub-zero. it may not make sense, but it's an idea...i like the havik idea but it seems out of character for him, and yes i'm aware that my idea doesn't explain why he cut his face off

I like the idea of having Havik be a god for the Chaosrealm similar to Raiden. Pair that with the idea of Kotal being an Outworld god who steps down to bring order back to his realm, and we finally have the gods play more of a role. They have been skipped over for the Elder Gods for too long IMO. On topic, it would be awesome to have him in the background causing chaos and wars until the goods guys figure it out and try to take him down.

Havik is a cleric of Chaos. He isn't evil. It makes absolutely no sense as to why he would be the final boss. He is definitely more of a "behind the scenes" character, much like NRS seems intent on turning Shinnok into.
