Most deffinatley Mortal Kombat would have a future, It puzzles me why you would even question that considering most of us knew that they were going to release a Next Gen game for the future.

Mortal Kombat is like Midway's golden franchise and as long as they break the millions seal there will be a Mortal Kombat game in some shape or form.

And while there are still fans still wanting to play this franchise there will be a Mortal Kombat being released. It's funny the lack of faith some have on this site. I never seen a development team that meets with people that put up a fan site for them and hang out with them and give them tours of their fucking studio in person, not untill I was here.

Mortal Kombat delivered a decent fighting game through and through, it may not be golden and you can't compare any game to its original but each released game was always a decent game. Deception was an okay game that introduced us to new concepts Deadly Alliance was an okay game and was groundbreaking in the franchise, and Armaggedon was a good game too that tried some new concepts for the series also.

Mortal Kombat has a future, I don't know for how long but it really should not matter. Take it one step at a time haha that seems like a simple formula.

Hell yeah, part of being a huge diehard fan afterall.

Stay through the ups and downs and not just the up like some other front runners.....

MK8 will be off the wall I feel, just have a feeling.UMK3 is extremely hot right now as the best oldschool fighter to download via xbox 360, MK:A sold a lot despite what some think about it so yeah I do feel MK has a future that's far from done and for me definitely.grin
