That was one of the things I liked about MK1 Goro, his size didn't really effect his speed at all. MK9 Goro (and Kintaro) was a joke IMO. I think if he returns they need to make his speed at least equal to the regular sized characters and if he is returning as an unplayable sub-boss they should increase his speed some.

Well the general thought process seems to be that if you lived through MK9 you're pretty much a shoe-in so.

Goro being a sub boss is boring to me. Him being a normal playable character would be interesting like he was in Deception. If Kahn ever returned I'd want him to be playable character status as well.

I'm not the most up to date on Boon's twitter trolling, but doesn't this if anything confirm he won't be in the game? So far it seems like the more he hints at characters the less likely they'll be in the game. Assuming there's any method at all to his madness.

And yeah, looking at Grundy's design in Injustice, or maybe even Doomsday's, it seems like they could really give Goro a killer play style in MKX if he was playable. Make him a force to be reckoned with again. I loved the big, massive tank like characters in Injustice and so far from what I've seen Torr and Kotal just don't scratch that itch in MKX.

MK9 isn't Sheeva's second chance. MK9 is just another Trilogy just like MKT and Armaggedon. If it was a legit game like MK3 when she debuted, then I would say she got a second chance. Her second chance would legitimately be MKX.

Why are some people saying Sheeva has no chance? Look how much treatment Goro and Kintaro got! Sheeva deserves the same!

I wouldn't care if Sheeva became the sub-boss. She should get notice like her counter-parts, Goro and Kintaro.

It'd surely be awesome to have a playable Goro. Former champion of Mortal Kombat, he deserves the playable spot out of all them shokans. NRS has shown they're able to mix large characters with small ones now with Injustice, so I wouldn't be surprised if Goro is Next.

Preach on. Damn straight on all accounts. MK9 was not a second chance at all. She was revealed second to last and had absolutely nothing of merit to do. She was just there cause she had to be. Smh at people considering a forced appearance as a second chance.

The only time i'd believe Boon's tweets is if he deconfirms some minor nuisance character like he did with Chameleon, Hsu Hao, Drahmin, etc.

I dunno, I don't want big characters in the game because their slowness will just imbalance the gameplay. This is why I didn't fuck with Bane and Solomon Grundy in Injustice, and the game itself lol.

I'm really shocked by the Goro teases. Usually he just kinda throws out stuff here and there(as he's been doing with Reptile nods), but he really went from 0-60 with this whole thing in no time.

And a side note to everyone...of COURSE you should be skeptical... Its Ed F'N Boon, but that doesn't mean we can't have fun day dreaming.

MK9 is a legitimate game. She had a chance to garner more fans, and I'm sure she got a couple. (Out of the millions of units sold at least one person became a Sheeva fan after MK9.) Was her appearance forced? Yeah probably. That doesn't change the fact she at least had an appearance in the game.

She had more of a chance than ANY 3D era character. (Except of course Quan Chi.) Know why? She was in an MK game that had a story mode, and gameplay that was good. She's had more exposure than she's ever had in the entire series. And you say it wasn't a second chance? Tell that to Nitara, Drahmin, Darrius, Dairou, Kobra, etc.

And to whoever said Sheeva was second to last to be revealed, as if that actually matters.

I've always wanted Kintaro to become a playable shokan. I prefer him to Goro but I'll take what I can get.

There was absolutely no effort put into her character. She was tossed in. MK9 was hardly a true shot at redemption for her character. Your arguement is as silly as saying Armageddon was the MKD characters second chance.

A second chance isn't just a shot at being in another game. But actually having effort put into their character. Don't sit here and act like Sheeva was given a fair shake. She was nothing but a dayplayer who happened to be playable...because she was in MK3.

Did she get the short end of the stick? Yes. But don't try and say she's the only victim. Just because you personally didn't feel it was a true redemption doesn't make it true. It was a chance just like it was a chance for anyone who hasn't been seen since Armageddon.

I never said anything about Sheeva being the "only victim". We were talking about her so why would I go bringing in Tom, Dick, and Harry?
