NO... if any games that MK was to copy off of, Dynasty Warriors SHOULD NOT be the game. Because it's basically the same thing over and over again. You go against one kingdom, depending on waht color you are either red green blue... blah blah blah...

We don't need any characters to look like a samurai, the only one that should be is Hotaru... if you think he's a samurai even though he's not.

So no, this idea should never come into an idea.

Not just becasue I hate the game, it's not that reason why I don't like this idea, but the fact that MK doesn't need to go into that kind of direction, it's not dark, and MK should be a darker game if anything. This is just ancient history/fictional game and MK doesn't not feature one thing in the game that's close to ancient history.

Dynasty Warriors is sort of true in a way, because of the fact that it's like how Chinese or Japanese (I get confused who they are) were like in the past, fighting against other kingdoms like England's kings were during that time period. But MK doesn't have anything like that, the only thing MK features is fighting, blood and gore. No ancient history whatsoever.

So no, not even the game should be like a dynasty warrior like, where you're just wandering around either on foot or riding some anmial until you reach a group of like fifteen or emore people and just beating the crap out of them with either combos or a special move. That is boring, and even game reviews said like X-Play... even though they don't give the best accurate views of some games... that every game is exactly alike. And MK is too, but they feature different things. Dynasty Warriors... just the same thing with a different story line each and every game.

Therefore my answer is a no.

Maybe as a part of a "kill all the enemies" mini-game...but I think they do that already in their konquest modes.

Sounds like Konquest to me.

Those games get repeatitive QUICKLY, So no. Too bad.

This would actually be interesting kinda if executed correctly. I don't think it should be a main MK game, like MK8. But it would be an interesting spin-off, imo, to sorta break away from the whole konquest forumla.

I'd love to play as Baraka during the Battle With Bo Rai Cho's/Goro's forces vs. Onaga's, but that's just my opinion.


Here are a few others I could think of the top of my head:

- Jerrod/Sindel during Shao Kahn's invasion of Edenia.

- Shinnok's take-over of the Netherrealm.

- Reptile/Khameleon/Chameleon during Shao Kahn's invasion of Zattera.

- Havik during the Orderrealm intrusion in Chaosrealm.

- Kung Lao/Liu Kang or someone during the Tarkatan attack on the Shaolin Temples.

- Jax/Sonya fighting alongside Special Forces Agents, repelling an Extermination Squad from a major city or SF base.

- A large confrontation between The Centurians and the Shokan for supremecy.

- Kitana/Jade/Sindel fighting off Demonic Hordes of Shinnok's invasion of Edenia.

- Li Mei defending her Village from Kano's forces.

- The Big Clash between the Alliance and Onaga's forces, as stated above.

- Darrius' rebellion in Orderrealm, fighting against Hotaru.

- Mileena sacking Shao Kahn's palace with the use of the Edenian Forces.

(Note that all of these stages could be played in reverse as well, such as Baraka during the Shaolin Temple attack, or Sheeva during the SF base attack, just to give an example.)

That's all I can think of off the top of my head, but hey, I think I did an ok job.

Now if they made the fighting system unique instead of having a bunch of cloned movesets like they did in DW6 (-_-), then they could make it interesting.
