Nay to everyone but Sonya and Shinnok.

I don't mind those two being playable (or DLC), but I'd rather have them show up as NPCs for this game. They do have important roles in the story though, not just NPCs that are like in the background of a stage.

Sonya - Nay. Has evolved almost nil over her 20 so years of existence. With Cassie in, she can sit out. I hope to see her in story mode, but she doesn't need to be playable.

Shinnok - Yay. It's time he got his due as an intimidating figure in the MK Universe.

Cyrax - Yay.

Sektor - Yay. These guys are iconic in MK. They deserve to be in as much as Reptile or Kitana. And their storylines going forward should be interesting if they follow a similar trajectory to the other 3D games.

Motaro - Nay. I would have liked to see more of him in MK9, but he doesn't need to show up now.

Shinnok maybe, the rest no, the robots have been done and the fact there's a human inside of them makes it even less appealing.

Sonya Blade - No. Her dipstick has run dry in terms of storyline and we don't need a thousandth Sonya-Kano retread.

Cyrax & Sektor - No on both. Cyrax because of his cheapness and while I like Sektor, the robo-ninja schtick has run its course.
Motaro - Yes, simply because a centaur in a game like this would freakin' rock.

Sonya- Nay. I definitely want her to be a huge part of the story and she is one of my favorite characters, but we have Cassie. She can sit out and let someone else have a chance.

Shinnok- Yay- I loved playing as him in Armageddon and I would love to play as him in a 2D field. He is also very important to the story. Plus he deserves another chance.

Cyrax- Nay. I was never a fan of him. Sektor is wayyyyy better.

Sektor- Nay. Id rather have him than Cyrax but i dont really want any cyborg in.

Motaro- Nay- I would have liked him to be a boss in MK9 but i dont want him playable.

Fujin still tied for number 1 .

Motaro - NAY, Only boss I Iike in MK is limited to Kintaro.

Sonya Blade - Nay. Seems like she might be in though. Hopefully legacy DLC? Just doesn't make that much sense with Cassie also playable.

Cyrax - Yay I guess. I kind of want a cyborg character (I'd prefer Cyber Smoke and also human Smoke because Smoke) and Cyrax is the more interesting one compared by Sektor and Cyber Sub Zero.

Sektor - Nay. See above.

Shinnok - Yay. Teased at end of MK9, pretty integral to the story, has an interesting moveset to divide into variations.

Motaro - Nay. I never really liked Motaro and I don't think he'll ever be worked into the current system in terms of playability. X-Ray Motaro? I don't think so.

Sonya Blade: Nay, though I think it's a moot point. I won't be mad if she's DLC.

Cyrax and Sektor: Nay, in a game with limited slots for good post-MK3 characters, the cyber-ninjas are the most expendable MK9 characters.

Shinnok: Yay. MK9's story ending needs to mean something; I hope Shinnok gets his due as a sub-boss with a unique moveset this time around.

Motaro: Nay. NRS has pretty much written him out of the continuity in MK9 anyway.

Sonya - Yay.
Shinnok - Yay. This character has a lot of potential and I really hope that he is given a chance here. This would be a perfect opportunity.
Cyrax - Yay. I really enjoy Cyrax and he is one of my favourite characters, however I wouldn't mind if the robots got the cut this time around.
Sektor - Nay. I enjoy Sektor, but I prefer Cyrax, and I don't even know if Cyrax's chances are that high.
Motaro - Yay. If they could pull him off properly? That would be a crazy feat.

Sonya - Nay, we have Cassie so I think she should sit this one out to let her daughter shine,
Shinnok - Yay. Would like to see him as a huge threat in this game.
Cyrax - Yay. One of my MK9 favourites, and one of the few from that game I really wanted to return.
Sektor - Nay, always preferred Cyrax, and with limited slots I don't see room for him.
Motaro - Nay, I think he would look too awkward. Boss would be cool though.
