Charybdis have read the GamePro magazine and found this:

Charybdis Wrote:
-Sub Zero is not Bi Han: Noob is stressed to still be a separate character. However, its noted KL went Cyber. Seems likely to be a new Sub Zero. Will be answered in story mode

So that means that Cyber Sub-Zero might actually still be a thing!
I hope he will be a playable character, as he was one of my faves from MK9. I enjoy plaing him alot more than any of the other Sub-Zeros and the other cyber ninjas as well. And I also hope he will have more original moves this time around and less stolen moves from other characters, like Cyrax's bombs and teleport. ^^

This makes me feel good inside.

I think Boon just meant mentioned him as being Cyber Sub-Zero to explain why he wouldn't be under the mask. What he says pretty much confirms that the Sub-Zero we've seen so far is someone new. I don't really see how this suggests Cyber Sub-Zero will actually be back.

Hence why I said "might". No, Cyber Subbie isn't confirmed playable, but it does confirm him to be a thing. I just hope he will be playable.

I believe I have the exact opposite reaction but then again I don't care who is behind the mask. While I don't really care for the cyber sz, doesn't mean I would scrap the character. If that was the case I would have scrapped quan chi more than a decade ago

I think CSZ can return, but only as DLC character without plot (he was killed afterall, no matter how little it means in MK). He is a bit too controversial to be put into the main roster. Especially if rumors about how limited it is, are true.

On the other hand, MKX definitely will be a controversial game for some people, so NRS can go all out with strange stuff.

Cyborgs/robots cannot die. They don't have a soul and their deaths are by being dismantled, yet they can be put back together. Just saying.

They can give Cyber Sub-Zero variations totally different from the new Sub-Zero Snow, hail and ice spikes would be a thought.

I am not really sure how it works in MK'verse, but it's possible that MK cyborgs still have souls. Or at least that could be the case in MK9. Otherwise, it kind of hard to explain why CSZ ended up in Hell, being controlled by Quan Chi, with all other killed characters.

Sounds like a neat idea. Something like Sub-Zero, but with much more powerfull and flashy cryomancy. Possibly at the expense of the speed.

If he becomes a playable character, I just hope he retains his speed. That's the one thing that I loved about this character, his speed.

That and I pissed a friend of a friend off with Cyber Sub-Zero as he decided to become Sir Spam-a-lot with Cage.

Whatever kind of Sub-Zero is in these games, let it behold that he must always have some sort of a defensive ice ability. One touch and bam you're frozen.

Anything's possible, but I doubt we'll see cyber-sub again (except maybe as a costume). He was hardly used online, and he was hardly used in tournament, and he has one of the biggest hate groups. I just don't see it.

I really don't want to see him playable. Cameo? Sure. Costume? Sure. Full fledged character? Nah.

Wow color me shocked. It was vastly apparent that it was a new sub-zero. Subby fans just could not for the life of them get over that fact which is why there was speculation in the first place.

Good work Jaded getting this into the light. The cyber subby info is gold. Because it ALMOST just confirmed that Noob is still a character and may even be part of the roster. And distinguishes cyber subby as a separate character that may also be in the roster.

I am most intrigued about the Noob information. Doesn't it sound like he is playable from that quote? Noob is STRESSED to still be a separate character. mmm

Also would be hard to explain how CSZ over wrote his programming and remember his past. Seems like a soul was in play there to magically turn good like that.

Very interested as to why? (Quan chi). There are about 30 characters I would scrap before him.

Welp, won't deny I would have found it interesting to have Bi-Han back as Sub, but the mantle being passed again works for me. Tres cool if true.

When Sub-Zero (Kaui Liang) was automated, they could of hooked wires to the human brain and transfer all his memory to a disc/memory card which is his new brain. We all know cyborgs don't have human brains (except for in MK, which is stupid). That's how he could have remembered his past.

I'd really like to see noob stay. That being said, I can't help but crave Bi-Han to return as subzero. The difference it would make in Raiden's, Shinnok's, Quan Chi's, Scorpion's, The Lin Kuei's and even the elder gods' eyes would play out amazingly.

I'm still putting all my money down on the return of the Shirai Ryu in MKX. If Bi-Han and Scorpion both headed up a revived war between these two clans, I would seriously not be able to contain my excitement.

Before MK9's timeline jump, Midway was starting to toy with the Shrai Ryu's revival. With intro dialogue specifically naming them and Scorpion likely to break free of Quan Chi's control, he is going to revert back to his primary desire.

I'd say with the botched timeline and Shang Tsung being questionable as for his "Soulnado opening abilities", We likely won't see Scorpion end up inside of it +/- being the elder gods' champion. Where is left to go? The clan.

..... Fuck I am SO ready for story mode.

Ugghh, Cyber Sub-Zero and Sub-Zero in one game again, over all other more original characters?

Hope that isn't going to happen, I have one blonde shock to deal with, don't put me through another icy one please.

And I'd rather have Cyrax and Sektor back, wouldn't care that much for C-Sub-zero to return ever again.

I hope E.B just meant that it will be explained how the new Sub-Zero got into the storyline.

Cyber Sub is probably going to be Noob Saibot.

I severely doubt we're going to have 'more than one Sub-Zero type' unless Frost is included.

The same article that mentions Cyber Subz being Kuai also mentions that Bi-Han is definitely Noob Saibot. I'm still not convinced that this Sub-Zero isn't one of the brothers.

At the end of the day he still says it will be revealed in the story. He's keeping a tight leash on who this Sub-Zero is. He's not just going to blurt that shit out guys.

What? Why?
Cyborgs in MK are former humans. They have shitton of implants and cybernetics added to their bodies, but their foundation is still a human body. So they have their own brains.
And why "cyborgs having human brains is stupid"? In case of MK cyborgs it makes sense.
