Peopl keep on mentioning Mileena but I've watched the trailer four times and can't see. Where are people getting Mileena from?

Its fun to speculate, but I'm holding off on deeming anyone as "confirmed" until we have something a bit more concrete to go on. As far as I'm concerned, all we got out of this was confirmation of an unidentified bow user, Sonya will appear in the game in some capacity, and a glimpse of someone who may or may not be Jax.

I LOVE the amateurs at IGN spent 5 minutes dissecting character clues such as Jade's staff, Rain's water bubble etc hinting at their inclusion (most fans are calling fan service), when they had about 4 more obvious and glaring playable character clues in the footage behind them. Jokers

Half of the pictures being posted are so goddamn blurry and just impossible to see. I appreciate speculation as much as the next guy but I feel like some of these users are just seeing things the rest of us aren't. The same goes for Lui Kang as well. Everyone keeps on pointing him out but I can't see him either

What's a "new bow character"?

There actually would be 7 spots left, because Goro is DLC. Plus, I don't believe that 24 will be the final number, not counting DLC. I know the select screen we see still hasn't changed, but I sure as hell know that a character count of 24 is tad small for a story stretching across 25 years.

There's an unidentified female character in one of the towers, she has underboob going on...that's enough for me to think it's Mileena. lol

I love the roster so far, add Cyrax and Kenshi and that's all my favorite MK9 characters right there.

I think Mileena is a given guys, independent of the recent news, is just a matter of time.

I'd say my biggest hope for this game isn't coming true

Or it could just be another brand new character we haven't seen yet. There's nothing specifically suggesting it to be Takeda.

I half dread every new reveal, I just think, which mk9 character will taking up another roster spot. :(

I'm relatively disappointed in the absence of the 3D-era characters to be honest. I mean at least give us some Havik or Fujin or something.

Returning MK9 characters wouldn't be much of a surprise, that is why they are getting those out of the way. Now, brand new characters and 3D era characters would surely be a surprise for us when we get/play the game.

We know that not all characters will be revealed so, why spoil surprises?

I think they are keeping the 3D era characters top secret so we can be surprised.

As much as I'm going to love this game, I fear that most if not all the 3D era characters will not make the cut for the retail game, which is a shame as some have a lot of potential. Also, two of my favorite characters are Jade and Johnny Cage, and the "Jade" variation for Kitana and the possible bereavement necklace Sonya is wearing cut their chances down significantly.

Not that I won't enjoy the game, I'm not unreasonable, still got at least 24 characters to play with :)

Shang Tsung
Jaqui Briggs
Shinnok
Baraka
Kenshi

i doubt baraka and shang make it in over liu kang but i could be wrong.

Ooops, thought Kang had been taken into account, ok, trade him for Baraka :)

the Post Trilogy characters. I'm not saying the likes of Fujin, Shinnok and Havik all suck. They have unrealized potential, and from the looks of it, that potential isn't being realized

Not exactly hype about it. Not angry over the returning ones since they make sense being popular enough. Jax bugs me, if he's playing sidekick to Blade again we dont need the sidekicks daughter who is also a sidekick herself. Alright so far but it could use some more characters that arent returning from 9 and not descendants.

But we clearly see what looks like Liu Kang on the towers with his classic headband and moppy hair so really if the roster is 24, we're looking at 1 less. That's reason enough I'm certain 24 is not the final number. May have been the initial number in development, but I think it was upped.

You could be right but i doubt it more and more everyday. More than 24 and seeing any 3d characters seems like wishful thinking.
