If mk had 2 types of mk games I wouldnt mind meaning : mk9- which would be bloody : and a vs game with less blood but hyper gameplay. As long as they hav a normal mk out i dont care if they make crossovers with other less bloody games, but the gameplay has to be fun. If with the mk9 release they wanted to add much more content to mk vs dc I would play both. Plus they are 2 different type of games the vs game would hav less blood so that it can be merged with another type of game in the future e.g.- mk vs tekken or mk vs streetfighter or mk vs soul calibur. Its a smart idea to keep a vs type game along with the regular one, it helps bring in extra money 4 midway. Plus ppl who like fightin games 2 challenge other fightin games would love this idea.

The only crossover that makes sense is Mortal Kombat Vs Venture Brothers. Imagine 64 Mortal Kombat characters Vs Brock Samson. THE BLOOD!

Seriously though, this thread has been done a million times.

DAMN STRAIGHT! But Samson would be God-Tier, that's like putting Dr. M in a DC Universe game.

As said in the hundreds of other crossover idea threads I will still have to stay with the old saying that goes around here...

No more crossovers.

My mind is just overdosing on the possible fights now:
The Monarch Vs Scorpion
H.E.L.P.eR. Vs Cyrax
Baron Von Underbhiet Vs Shao Kahn
Dr Girlfriend Vs Sonya
Molotov Cocktease Vs Kitana

Hank and Dean would have to be a tag team though.

mm hmm.

There's conditions, but basically that's it.

1.) Marvel vs DC produced by the MKTeam
or
2.) MK vs SF down the road somewhere.

My door is absolutely closed to the idea otherwise.

I've never really been a fan of Comic Book Vs Video Games crossovers. In my mind, comic book characters have this sort of immortality and an instant tier list. (X will always beat Y, because Y is evil!) Whereas fighting game characters are always seen beaten or victorious against their opponents. So instantly, in my mind the video game characters are already beaten by the A-List comic book characters.

Even though I enjoyed MK Vs DCU and wouldn't mind MK Vs DCU2, I cant help feeling I would have preferred a 100% DCU game. It would have a more complete DC roster and MK fans could have got a glimpse of the next 100% MK.

But Video game crossovers are a different matter. Take a look at Capcom Vs SNK, Sega Superstars, Super Smash Bros. I mean these examples just seem to work.

But the trouble with mixing anything with MK is either the crossover brand has to up their gore and violence (not likely really) or MK is neutered down a bit. (fans dont like that.)

I personally wouldn't mind a Soul Calibur Vs Mortal Kombat. I think the two story lines would meld quite nicely. But even then I want a fan of both series to do it, as a fanart/fiction project, ahead of Bamco and Midway (RIP) screwing up completely.

Hank and Dean vs Noob-Smoke....my God, I'd pay for a Venture Bros. vs MK game....haha.

But seriously...no more crossovers.

I'm on board with the no more crossovers idea. But, what about cameos?
I'm not saying at ALL that these have to be comic book characters, but what about a cameo that would actually fit into the MK universe and have a story that may tie in?

You mean like the characters that occasionally pop up in Soul Calibur?

Something like that. I don't know about the Star Wars ones, but for Link they even did a little story piece on him being there, how he got there, etc.

Maybe you're right on that. Spawn and Heihachi also had little stories and Kratos looks a better fit for SCIV: BD than the Star Wars guys.
I have to partly agree. MK serie should do crossover once in a while, but the condition is there is going to be atleast one normal, bloody, uncompromiced, authentic MK(The real MK) between two crosses. Street fighter, tekken, soul calibur, dead or alive(U missed one!) certainly all got some business oppertunity($$$) for MK to take, maybe selling it as no blood(A T rating, just to get more audiences), and have blood and more gruesome fatality as a DLC(my guess is MK is going with paid DLc, because of $$$) for every of them.

I'd rather crossovers be far in-between, a rarity.
Its like candy, its sweet but I shouldn't have it all the time. Keeps me appreciating them.
