Assassins Creed fans bitch about where the next game should take place, gamers bitch about games that take too long in development (i.e. Fallout 4, Half-Life 3, ect.), gamers complain about every fucking thing so why exactly is this new to you?

Like I said I feel sorry for NRS its them who are crunching 60 hour weeks to get the game finished and having a fanbase turn on you over character designs and whos in and out must demoralize the shit out of people working on this game.
How about a bit of respect for the work they are doing.

This is the internet. Compassion doesn't exist on the internet for any franchise, any person, any thing for that matter. People complain, that's what people do. People have favorites, they want their favorites. Ed has been in this business for several decades now, he knows the drill, he knows how fans react, and more importantly, he's a big boy. I'm sure he and his team can handle the pressure. MK9 sold massively. At the end of the day, that's all that matters and they know it.

NRS has made an incredible game, and I do agree and empathise - to an extent.

The thing is, it was a bit negligent not to forward-predict some of the roster complaints or at least adapt your reveal strategy to account for them. Some of the bitching could so easily have been avoided with just a *little* more diversity in reveals. And by a little, I mean literally sprinkling in ONE fresh post-trilogy reveal (a tanya, a Shinnok etc) would have appeased a great majority of hard fans who are feeling burned.

They could still do that, or deconfirm the more frequent requests, but choose not to - so I can only empathise so far. Some of the twitter bullshit in this very thread "already more than 2 MK4 confirmed" etc, is why my heart isn't quite breaking.

Finally good News. I really hope for Fujin and Shinnok. They would fit perfectly in MKX.

And to be honest i think Tanya deserves a Chance to make the cut. Hm.. Reiko never was an interesting kharacter for me. But if they rework his moveset and make him unique.. well sure, why not? :)

thats great and all, the less mk9 scum the better...But at the same time, this vexes me....That means less room for characters from mk9 that lived, and would contribute to the story...LIKE BARAKA....And less room for the loads of new characters we were promises, boon an co said wed get more then ever....right...

I am highly pissed off that death yet again, seems not to matter, and the the story means nothin, and the dead returned, everyone that died in mk9 should have stayed dead to make mk9s sacrifices, loss, and death mean something....Why kill them to bring them back? Beran even said they killed half of them off to enable new blood...So why is kung lao an kitana back? They only way to explain it is another cheap ass rez plot...which again rapes mk9s story, and is pissweak story telling....

Now we have that pos, liu kang, and jax returning, it makes me very unexcited for the roster....Baraka could have been amazing in this game, and play a good part of the story with mileena...but he may have a back seat for crap like Jax, liu kang and the other dead that should of stayed dead....

now with more mk4 peepz, we have less new, less relevant chanced, and its not their fault, its the mk9 cast the nostalgic tards stuck in the 90s cant let go of haha

That would be pretty cool, we can have him use his bow for one variation, Raiden's staff for a second, and his handstand capoeira style as his third variation. I've been waiting for him to show up with a greater focus on detail to him because that character has a ton of potential to be awesome.

I don't see what's new here, he just said the same thing Ed Boon said before, there will be a MK4 character (besides Quan Chi) and post MK4 character. Wouldn't get my hopes up for any more than that.

It's probably Kenshi / Havik / Bo rai Cho for post MK4 & Shinnok for MK4.
