Mavado is definitely able to be saved. I think the hook swords is what rubbed people the wrong way. I'd definietly welcome him back.

Personally, I do not want any characters that died in MK9's story mode to be on the main roster unless there is a helluva good reason to put them on their or their resurrection is explained in the story. Its time to start cleaning up the franchise. I feel like the original group of fighters are starting to overstay their welcome. But for the later generations, I do not want:

If the MKX game is indeed a retelling of the MK4 events then KILL PERMANENTLY OFF - - >

Reiko, Jarek, Shinnok, Tanya. These characters haven't been anything really, give them a good sendoff in the retelling of their stories. And above all else, kill Quan Chi. Overexposed villain sue that he is.



No C/Khameleon either, purposeless characters without anything of their own. While not necessary to kill, negating the Daegon/Taven plot thread would indeed avert Armageddon. Well, Daegon could be around since Red Dragon and all...

Sheeva, Baraka, the jobbers of MK could be killed off, since they seem to be fodder. If so, give them a fine sendoff again. That much they do deserve.

Infact, tyhis could be a good time to give the much needed boost for the DA/D characters to shine. And finally put MK4 behind us forever.

I'm fine with every character, really. Even a joke like Meat, with the proper redesign and backstory could be interesting.

However, I'd like to see the zombified heroes being saved at the end of the story mode, kinda like Ermac ending in MK: Deception.

So Jax, Kung Lao, SIndel, Kitana & co. should be just non-playable undead enforcers (like MK: Deception), they are rescued and return in MK11.

Honestly everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but I believe if you consider yourself a true long lived Mortal Kombat fan then you can look past your own minor gripes with characters such as Reptile, Liu Kang, and even a minor character such as Baraka and realize that these are staple characters of this game.

So calling for their exclusion doesn't even make sense. I hate Sonya, but she will forever live on.

As for characters I would rather not see return I think I agree with most. The silly characters that we got stuck with beginning with MK:DA. Not all of them N E E D to go but most...
