So if boon is saying five character reveals in one day its safe to assume that he means playable on the roster.
So that would be kung jin,jacqui briggs,takeda,mileena and erron black with everyone else probably being a cameo.

No need to apologize. Everyone has their own opinions. I think it is idiotic to assume stuff about the story mode without watching it first. I'm sure if they make her the final boss they will have a reason behind it and explain how she came to have such power.

If Mileena is the boss she still better be playable.

I wowed out watching the trailer; just did again and still as great as it was when it watched when it was tweeted by Boon.

He's still adamant there's only 5 actually revealed and so I just watched it back again and- there's only 5 unrevealed characters that really stand out Takeda, Jacqui, Kung Jin, Erron Black & Mileena because all 5 have more focus than any other and Shinnok is likelier to be an unlockable.

But I don't doubt that Johnny, Sonya, Rain & Baraka will be on the main roster.

he said revealed not playable, which means we should only count the names that were actually spoken

and um the fact that sub-zero is kuia liang is technically a character reveal

those were the only 5 names spoken throughout the trailer(well and kano)
So Rain and them could still be playable, just not actually revealed yet.

Jacqui, Takeda, Kung Jin, and Mileena are hella confirmed. If Ed was dead serious about only five characters being revealed, then I'm thinking that Shinnok isn't as much of a guarantee as we thought. Erron, while more hidden than Shinnok in his brief clips, has a far more persistent and integrated presence.

Of course, it's also possible that "revealed" = "made obvious." In which case, Shinnok is most likely #5 and Erron and anyone else is a tease. (A deliberate tease, or they were simply impossible to completely cut from the trailer so they're forced to appear briefly, even though they're "secret" for now.)

You know they're doing this mind game on purpose. There's no other reason to be so coy, even in the press release, about who exactly is #5.

I love Mileena, with all my heart, but do you all really think after the upset she was in MK9 (I loved her but I remember she was a least fav for some stupid ass reason, and let's never forget the challenge tower big win being her nude alt...), they'd make her a BOSS in X? Haha. She has power, but we all know they'll fuck her over like they ALWAYS do.

Still a badass bitch, and once she's konfirmed as a playable kharacter, all of you will fight me and die with your precious Scorpion's head on the floor xo.

Neither Mileena nor Kotal will succeed. The true Big Bad overshadows them both. Why? Because the Amulet and the Kamidogu daggers are fucking with everything and everyone, and someone is behind all that. Presumably, Shinnok.
