I really like the music it sounded great. I think this may be a finalized version of Sub-Zero's theme for MKX which is wonderful.

Humm as awesome as it sounds, I don't think it's the select menu music.It might be actually fake. I believe the select menu's is teh one we hear in Kano and Quan Chi vids

Sounds like main title music as opposed to character select. All of those type of themes since MK vs DC have a common sound

The one thing I don't like about new Mortal Kombat games is the music.

...You can't have this really drawn out buildup on a character select screen considering you're on there a really short moment...The track doesn't even go anywhere really...

If this is indeed the character select music...It doesn't do it for me...Like the last few MK games, unfortunately...

I really really dig the track (Imo, it's already an improvement from MK9), but definitely not for select screen music.

Yeah I'm inclined to think it's the menu theme as well. Way too long for a character select theme. I'm hoping the character select music is from the reveal trailers that they play everytime.

This is the current select theme. You can hear it in the stream NRS did.

It might be a situalition like MKvsDC where all the menus had the theme playing seamlessly including on the character select, so you could hear more of it....But even then, I very rarely heard the molodic part of that track with it's similar slow buildup to this MKX one...

MK2 Character Select Screen on Genesis is probably my all time favorite tune.

*Rolls eyes* Well it seems as though MK is getting it's "inception" on with this title screen music. I mean it's better than what we got in the last game...then again the flipping Ultimate Mortal Kombat title screen music was better than that, and that was just someone hitting a single key on the piano.

I too hope this is temp music. Character Select music needs to bring HYPE. This is kinda anti hype. Nice, but not hype.

Sounds to me like it's been put there as a placeholder, I'd agree that it doesn't feel like 'character selection' music, too wide in scope. Feels like a Main Menu theme.

Good stuff, though.

At least it has a definite Asian atmosphere to it. last time we had that was the Deception OST.

The beat they put in the beginning of Kano, Quan Chi, etc, Raiden's gameplay trailers was so incredibly perfect.

The most absolute of all perfections... I was hoping THAT would be the official select screen music! They even show the select screen in the trailers, with that sound... it was flawless!

I am indifferent to this new low quality thing you just posted. I would not be mad at all if it turned out to be fake and not inkluded in the game.

Anyway the music is the not priority, with MKX.. in my opinion. The priority will be the GRAPHIKS and the arena + kharakter DESIGNS!! I hope Tanya can have an amazing koncept, if in MKX!!
