I planned to do this for a long time, a very and completely detailed work on MK7 and it's characters. Those who have read my previous attempts know of my overly carefull ways of character description, but this will be far more darker and more pessimistic than any other MK game. note also, that certain characters will be changed to a degree that most will recognise as too drastic. So, this would be the prologue of this story:

***

"Mortal Kombat has always been and always will be. Ever since the begin-ning of ages long past, each and every realm was given the right to defend himself from outer agressors through this holy competition inspired by the noble tournament of test and skill of the shaolin. The gods, fearing that the wars would unbalance the furies announced that Mortal Kombat should be fought. This happened under many guises, let it be tournament or war.

Even though fearsome and dangerous struggles have been then observed by the gods of the universe, the relative balance have been maintained. The threat had many faces, and let there be the couse greed, lust for power, or eternal life, all threat has been repelled by the world most commonly to fight in mortal competition: Earth. This treasure of the bliss universe has enjoy-ed relative peace untill a cunning overlord has enacted a sinister plan that has drawn the attention of both gods, and other superbly powerfull entities.

Onaga, the Dragon King, thirsting for rule everlasting, has ensured his return to power through eons of absence. Slain by betrayal, and now destroyed by justice, the beast returns from the certain death by the aid of five of his most trusted vassals. The Five Divine Generals has proven their supremacy, and the chaos that has been already ensured has widened to a scale unseen by the Elder Gods themselves.

Fearing and realizing that the subconcious workings of the great Dragon through Onaga is aparent, they has now taken action. though divided the Tribunal may be, a Mortal kombat tournament unlike anything previously seen will be fought by the affected worlds. This time, no regret, no remor-se and no pity will be taken upon ourselves and those who would pose threat to Earth. So swears the thunder god Raiden. The time is nigh, we wait for the encroaching storm."

***

And let's get this fanfic rolling: there are 32 open slots for each character, and ten are already unlockable from the start. Theese are the major power player

Sorry for the latency, but I had to revise a few things. Now, we shall begin with the evaluation of the base characters. After we are done, we shall pro-ceed with the rest of the already twisted crew.

KUNG LAO

age: 36
height: 5' 10''
weight: 175 lbs
origin: Earthrealm, the Peoples Republic of China, unregistered citizen
affiliation: The White Lotus Society, senior scholar of the Wu Shi Academy

allies: Raiden, Liu Kang, Johnny Cage, Sonya Blade, Jax Briggs
enemies: Shang Tsung, Quan Chi, Shao Kahn, Goro, Kano,
nemesis: Goro

Kombat styles and weaponry: Mantis style, Shaolin Chuan, Broad sword

"After my defeat from the hands of Shang Tsung, I could not rest in peace. While relatively we were dead, the last remnants of our life kept sparkling inside our bodies. I now understand that the strange murky remains of our conciousness was saved by my fallen brother Liu Kangs spectating mani-festation and by no minor thanks to the aid of the enigmatic warrior Ermac.
Despite the threat of the Dragon King was vanquished by the vagabond elder Shujinko, and from Ermac's lore we learned that the shaman and a supporter of our couse Nightwolf has ventured into the depths of the dark nether to ensure his fates closure we could not feel safe."

"Time has passed and upon our agreement, each of us returned to his home separate ways to avoid anny kind of retribution. However as we' ve returned home, I soon came to the conclusion, that my lackluster skills at the time and my undefined loyalty to my couse has sewered my prespec-tive. I was in need of time to reflect upon my actions. Even though my monk brother Liu is alive and well, invigorated by experience and victory over the Deadly Alliance an Onaga, I feel not moved by events. Something is amiss and it has already began to influence outr paths."

"The new tournament, in tradition and out of respect is announced to take place upon the ruins of Shang Tsung island on the Lost Sea, a merger between Outworld and Earthrealm. Our chances are grim, even though Raiden has announced his full distancing from the methods of his heaven-ly brethren, and even though Liu Kang is well, all of us admit this is going to be a decisive battle. My old adversary, prince Goro of the Shokan, is now fighting amongst one of our deadliest of enemies: Shao Kahn! As unlikely it may seem, Goro has reannounced his intentions towards the Princess of Edenia, Kitana, and has taken command of his Shokan armies, in servi-ce of the Emperor.

His intentions are clear. with Goros invitation, I shall confront him in Mortal Kombat to settle the score what he now judges as unfairly decided without proper combat. I pray and meditate so that I can be as strong as Liu in his beliefs, and be able to defeat my adversary for the last time."

Opinion over Liu Kang:
...despite his youth, seemingly sheepish appearance Liu Kang is worthy of being champion of the deadly sport, even though his behavior suggests otherwise. Noble and straightforward, however he lacks the will to put a finalization to certain ends. Such as...proving house Lao's victory in the first tournament, and putting finalization to...our competition...

Opinion over Shao Kahn:
...by having confronted him in Mortal kombat, I am not suprsed that this demon is alive. How he escaped is beyond even our sight, but rather to ponder on his escape, we would rather do well by planning his defeat.
All hopes lie in proper training and finding peace inside myself should
we are to fight him again...

Opinion over Johnny Cage:
...seemingly concerned with more coverage than containment, any oppo-nent could be mistaken by friend Cages seemingly vivid and cocky beha-vior. One cannot be too vary when sparring with this ally in theese darker times. His understanding is commendable, and behind the mask of deca-dence hides a masterfully planning combatant. Sometimes perhaps a bit too "decadent" for our tastes....

Opinion over Sub-Zero:
...one can wonder how a single man can command such force and res-pect. Friend Sub-Zeros disciplined and focused stance is admirable, we are however still unsure of what to think of him. Stoic, and humorless, the Lin Kuei Grandmaster is not to be taken lightly even among allies...

SONYA BLADE

age: 37
height: 5' 9''
weight: 140 lbs
origin: Earthrealm, United States of America, Texas
affiliation: U.S. Army Black Ops Special Forces, O.I.A., Intelligence advisor

allies: Jax Briggs, Johnny Cage, Liu Kang, Kung Lao, Raiden, Cyrax
enemies: Mavado, Kano, Shao Kahn, Shang Tsung, Quan Chi, Frost
nemesis: Mavado

Kombat styles and weaponry: Krav Maga, Kenpo, Kali Sticks

"Without proper planning and discipline we couldn't prevent the Deadly Alliances total victory over ourselves. While Kung Lao battled for revenge against Shang Tsung, and Kitana took preventive actions against Quan Chi, Jax Briggs and me occupied the Undefeatable Army untill Kung Lao and Ki-tana would quickly overcome the trwo sorcerors. Already we were risking too much, the bitter taste of defeat was salted by the sight of Kung Laos skull breaken by Shang Tsungs stomp, and Kitanas throat sliced by her own fans."

"We were out of possibilities, and with the lack of Lin Kuei support, we fell to death, as the two sorcerers laughed. Even Raidens response was slowed by the amounts of soldiers and tarkatans surroudning the vast fort-ress. And then, thank God, we were mindlessly enforced into the service of the Dragon King. having not witnessed this ruler as concious, we have no idea about his power or the forces he commands in his return from defeat. From what we've been told, even the efforts of the loner Shujinko and the covert manouver of Nightwolfs magics weren't enough to give pause to this evil."

"back to life without memories of our enslaved state, I can ideally rerun the operations concerning the O.I.A. and the Black ops Special Forces. From goverment command and upon my suggestion we are to reevaluate the importance and status of our allies and enemies. As we have already seen, the uncoordinated action of separatist factions cannot be truly effective, even if it means an elite band of warriors selected by divine, supernatural forces. I reestablished and reinforced our foorhold, and with the aid of Jax we are inevstigating several disturbing news. How-ever I cannot but grow weary, for I feel I'm about to betray my friends in the defense of mankind."

Opinions over Jax Briggs:
...Jax has always been straightforward and calm even as my superior and even as my second in command. The strongest man on our Earth is however an engine of destruction when in action. He is indeed a pure bred soldier. He has been of late, somewhat od, and his latest assigment is seemingly somehow personal towards him. I hope everything is allright with him...

Opinions over Raiden:
...gods. Raiden is truly a miracle for himself. More of a mortal than he may admit, his elegance is only paired by his elemental nature of his protector-ship over mortals. He, as myself has grown a bit weary of the struggles and we now agree, that reevaluation is in need for us to be triumphant. As his words show wisdom, we should rethink everything....

Opinions over Sub-Zero:
...calm. Way too calm for my liking. As his name suggest, this representati-ve of the chinese Lin Kuei is nontranslucent. We don't know anything about him, his motiveas or anything. As allies, they have proven to be asset, how-ever we cannot be sure of their allegiance. I've never been. 'Tis is strange how a runaway mercenary can become grandmaster so fast, and leave us stranded in the most crucial situation. Cyrax is sent out to deal with theese kinds of...problems...

Opinions over Mavado:
...seeing him was enough. Natural born killer. A predator. Never seen his kind since the covert ops in the Middle-East. Conditioned and educated. Never have I seen someone like him. His ability to deal with Kenshi accor-ding to his words, let alone being able to deal us a great blow with one henchman speaks for itself: he makes Kano look like a boyscout. Mavado is however more worthy of my respect than that scumbag. I somehow feel thankful for having that madman being dealt properly. But that won't save him from bringing him front of justice.

QUAN CHI

age: seemingly around 45 of a human of Earth
height: 6' 7''
weight: 210 lbs
origin: Netherrealm
affiliation: Brotherhood of the Shadow, free romaing sorcerer

allies: Noob Saibot, Smoke, Sareena, Shinnok, Noh,
enemies: Scorpion, Raiden, Kung Lao, Kitana, Johnny Cage
nemesis: Scorpion

Kombat styles and weaponry: Tang Soo Do, Quan Khi Dao, Heavy Maces

"As a sorceror, my significance is much more lasting than of a mere mor-tal. The plan of bringing the world to it's knees before me has failed on the brink of victory by the return of the Dragon King. Even the combined might of a thunder god and two sorcerers couldn't subdue the beast. Raidens choice was very unwise. The ethereal blast removed me from the living world, thus sending me dead into the netherrealm."

"Little does one know that my grounds lie beneath the nethers, so my de-ath is relative. However as a dead sorcerer, I can maintiain physical form and dqwell in the hells, unable to leave. However that too is relative, since my knowledge holds of a spell that can bring me back to life with a proper host. I am still scrying for that one living thing to be found."

"In the netherrealms however great things are afoot. A new shadowy po-wer, one of the former Lin Kuei, Noob Saibot has gathered enough presti-ge in the upper hells. He rebuilt the Brotherhood of Shadows and has now posession of a valuable retainer within the enigmatic entity known as the
"Noh". As Noob Saibot grows stronger, so much is the urge to have in pos-session of a valuable sorcerer. Noob Saibot agrees that my services are indeed valuable and he could have use of me. This source of Noh is strangely familiar to my past, and such an unique opportunity to study the acient state of the netherrealm preserved in such way is a must for any kind of intelligent and educated being. But for a sorcerer, it is a golden lane"

"Even Noob Saibots suspicion can't be outwitted. i know oh his intentions of displacing me at the nearest sitution in the future. However, he shall so-on find out that even as a wrath, may his name be Sub-Zero or Noob Sai-bot he stands little of chance against Quan Chi. The armies of wraiths he shall recruit shall serve me! But untill then, I entertain myself with carefuly devised schemes concerning the living, rather than the undead.

Opinions over Sub-Zero/Noob Saibot:
Was recruited once, was recruited twice. His mind is easily manipulated. Speaking of which, the wrath has only one interesting advantage: he is completely devoid of emotion unlike his past personality. That makes his manipulation only so much harder.

Opinions over Shang Tsung:
One can wonder how stupid one sorcerer can be trusting another. Even altough in the past, he was one of those who constructed the gateways, Shang Tsung grew little in personality and power. His challenge was as unwise as to trust my superior motives. However a dangerous opponent.

Opinions over Sareena:
Like a moth, he tries to break free from the dazzle of the lamp, but is lured by the light untill she gets burned. Speaking of burning, her desire towards the Lin kuei shall be her undoing.

Opinions over Scorpion:
How can a dead creature do harm to the living? Well, I know from first hand experience, that it can. But as far is the dead distanced from the living, the far is Scorpions chance of doing harm to me. The ninja spect-res hell-fueled rage is his undoing. Im suprised he couldn't see through the prize he payed for his special afterlife.

SHANG TSUNG

age: seemingly around 30-40 of an earthborn.
weight: 200 lbs
origin: Earthrealm, presumably China's Shang era.
affiliation: lead sorcerer of the Shadow Priests, free froaming sorcerer, overseer of the Mortal Kombat tournament.

allies: Shujinko, Sub-Zero, Blind Kenshi, Ermac
enemies: Quan Chi, Raiden, Liu Kang, Kung Lao, Shao Kahn, Rodjung
nemesis: Quan Chi

Kombat styles and weaponry: Snake style, Crane style, Straight Sword

"I was bested at a crucial moment. I could have expected Quan Chis treachery to come, but not in this way. To evade any trap i challenged the pale skinned spellcaster alone in hopes for a hasted victory, but I soon realised that without sustenance from the Soulnado, I could do nothing against him. His seal prevented me from absorbing any souls when direc-ted against him. However, that seal was removed when Raiden destroyed me, Quan Chi, the Soulnado, my palace..everything without reckoning."

"Good so. They forgot Shang Tsungs name in hopes for peace, but as I perceive, the earthly forces are precoccupied with more grievous and lar-ger problems at this time. I live, but how that came to pass, is a different story: Raidens blast has tossed me into the diminishing Soulnado for my luck, and my decrepit body could be renewed at a price. I sacrificed tens of thousands of innocent souls without a backthought to preserve my earthly essence. As long as I live, and given enough souls, I can heal."

"But from the ruins of my own palace, laying in grave condition I was rescued by the warrior legion Ermac. Several warriors found me either investigating or looting my palaces remains, and so I fed on their souls.
To further my conditions improvement, I visited the abandoned fortress of Quan Chi through one of my spells, and restored my youth to some deg-ree, however as leaving back to the forests of Outworld an unlikely event occured. In a short while I was found by the Lin Kuei Sub-Zero and his compaignon, the blind Kenshi. One prepared to finish a task given ten years ago, and the other thirsting for my blood, I made a pact wih them while reasoning with their comrades, the elderly Shujinko and the then reappearing Ermac - apparently in league with them."

"My knowledge is crucial for the defeat of the Dragon King. After the brief tutelage of events by the rag-tag party, I comissioned a plan to destroy the Dragon King and his ritual of immortality. However, there are details what Shang Tsung shall only keep for himself. I can see, this is now a Unlikely Alliance."

Opinions over Liu Kang:
...there is no greater pleasure ending your nemesi's life with your own bare hands. Aid of Quan Chi here or there, it was my knowledge and my cun-ning that led to his downfall. I really wish I could have... faced him in Mortal kombat though. Then his defeat could have been absolute.

Opinions over Shao Kahn:
... eons of disgracement and bloodytutelage teached me to respect the likes of him. And he teached me how to overthrow him. It is a never ending struggle. The strongs reward is that he may struggle further, and the weak dies. He was: my mentor, my tormentor and my primor.

Opinions over Kenshi:
...in those eyes burns a....beyond those eyes burns a vengeance blood red. Constantly watching me, I can peer into his soul to see the desire to end me, thus ultimately destroying the last chance to defeat Onaga. He shall soon fall for his own folly and rage. His hate is as dry as red vine.

Opinions over Rodjung:
...the darkest shadow of my former life is back, burning with the never ending fires of Iko. I cared for too much back in my human life. I loved for too many years. This weakness shall be crushed.

Very nice drawings. Shang Tsung and Quan Chi, very hot shit. grin

You need to change the title of the thread, though. As it says, its a "quite unique and detailed approach for MK7", but its really more of revamps and extensions to character bios, and not going into depth with any of the game's other aspects.

Everything will come in due time. After the bios the moves and such will be presented. The game mechanics are other things I have to think about.

RAIDEN

height: 7' 0''
weight: 280 lbs
origin: Earthrealm, Japan
affiliation: Heavens Tribunal, former elder god, renegade deity of thunder

allies: Kung Lao, Liu Kang, Sonya Blade, Jax Briggs, Johnny Cage
enemies: Shao Kahn, Shang Tsung, Shinnok, Quan Chi, Shujinko, Onaga
nemesis: Shao Kahn

Kombat styles and weaponry: Nan Chuan, Jujutsu, Long Staff

"I have gone against the wishes of my fellow gods and confronted the Deadly Alliance myself. Tghough victory was near at hand, the combined strenght of both Shang Tsung and Quan Chi subdued all of my efforts. And then, when the Dragon King made his presence known, we gave our best one by one, but even the three of the most powerful spellcasters couldn't stop, nor phase the beast. I had only one option left, so I did the unthinkab-le and destroyed everything in my path, including myself. Even me as an immortal, my reforming seemed like an eternity on Earth.

Shujinkos desire for adventure and to make a difference could be conside-red the source of theese times of trouble. Even so if he seemingly undid his mistake, the Dragon King rose from the dead. Apparently Shujinko did not redeemed himself, and foolishly left the corpse behind. Now, complete-ly unknown to us, Onaga restored his Divine Generals, thus the remnants of his Undefeatable Army are rallying towards the Sky Dragon Temple. Should they assemble, nothing could stop them from bringing about the end of Outworld. The Five Divine Generals are together invincible, and we are seemingly already doomed. However not is all lost yet:

To be fully successfull, Onaga needs every soldier remaining to join his couse. Should we be successful in preventing his armies macrh or delay their adwance we can buy precious time to confront the Generals directly and give pause to Onaga himself. However....to do that, we need fully focused and faithfull warriors. Earthrealms defenders have now became arrogant, doubtful and burdened. They will need proper guidance, but most importantly I require their perfect loyalty. I hold true to my oath, and destroy anyone who poses any kind of threat or weakness for Earth. I started without regret, with Shujinko. Let's see if my proteges are truly the ones who they need to be...I trust in good faith that they will not lack the devotion. Should they be found lacking theese traits, they can only fall in the upcoming tournament held by the Elders. However I still can't figure
out the real purpose of this tournament but something dreadfull is about."

Opinions over Shujinko:
...that Shujinko undid his mistake is of no importance. Anyone who poses harm to Earth shall fall. It is a turn of events that was necessary, though Shujinkos skill could have been used in a better way. But his demise was ultimately his choice alone, even if not a concious choice. May he now find peace in afterlife.

Opinions over Kung Lao:
...I can understand his grieve and fustration, but Kung Lao now dwells on failures long past. He hasn't failed us as much as Shujinko, thus he is now well and alive. With proper tutelage he should shake down the guilt felt by the defeat at the hands of the Deadly Alliance, and the challenge of oro in the upcoming tournament may inigorate him enough.

Opinions over Shao Kahn:
...so my counterpart is alive and well, that means he suvived the assault of the two sorcerers. Truly confusing: how could Liu Kang succumb to them if Shao Kahn was always alive troughout the time? That means Kahn has at least regained some of his former power, what is indeed disturbing. that can only mean several factions of Outworld are rejoined with him.

Opinions over Sub-Zero:
...the Lin Kuei was always under my suspicion. The former Sub-Zero pro-ved to be his own downfall, and chose his path without regret and with full arrogance. the younger one is more collected, more cold. I understand that his delay at the gates of Shang Tsungs palace was becouse of his the deadly assault upon him by his student. Those who willfully place our mis-sion at risk are not better than the abominations we are about to face now!
His timely presence could have been the key to victory against the sorcerer alliance!

I disagree with some parts of Shang Tsung's story. I highly dought that Kenshi, Ermac, Shujinko, or Subzero would ally with Shang Tsung even if the Dragon King still was a threat. Why would Subzero and Kenshi make a pact with him when one is suppose to kill him and the other HATES him. It does not make sence imo. Good work nonetheless, keep it up. smile

Well, this thread has my 'vote' to be stickied.

I don't say this often, which makes it one of the highest compliments I give, but you have a real talent for drawing and creativity. Cool pics and detailed posts, you deserve every DP received.

There are still a few tweaks needed, but overall, it looks rather well. With the pics, there's a rather "bleak, dark, and gothic" look to the characters, and I don't know if that was intended or not.

SCORPION

height: 5' 9''
weight: 190 lbs
origin: Earthrealm, Japan.
affiliation: the former Shirai Ryu, freelance assassin, Agent of the Tribunal

allies: none
enemies: Quan Chi, Drahmin, Moloch, Onaga,
nemesis: Quan Chi

Kombat styles and weaponry: Hapkido, Taijutsu, Shinobi-to

"It has been not my fault that the Dragon King Onaga has cheated death three times in a row. It has been my duty to hunt down and kill the beast. However after as I observed the elder warrior Shujinko to slay the dread beast, I plunged inot action. Not one of those lending his strenght to aid the bold vagrant in his quest, I was able to trace the spiritual remains of Onaga to the Nexus. Followed by his retainers via a riftgate opening, I sneaked upon them, just after the momentum when Onaga has used his power to regain physical orm again. Though dead, he and his followers were of no consequence, and I defeated this target.

To my knowledge, Onaga was bound to the Netherrealm when I slayed him, and when the Kamidogu were dissassembled, he could no longer remain as an astral presence in the living world. However, something has gone avry: the shaman Nightwolf disappeared when he tried to bind the beast to the hells, and as the Elders suspect, the untraceable sorceress of the Five Divine Generals was already awoken and has taken action. This explains Onagas pause after his defeat.

I have worked and experienced much. From a modern freelance guild of assassins I have descended into the hells after being dishonorably slain and desecrated, and now...I am the enforcer of the Elder Gods themsel-ves. From mortal through hellspawn to an avenging angel. My prior lives and unlives are behinf me. My new sole purpose is to serve the Elders as their unseen hand, a wildcard what they can play out without reprecussion.
As the elders wait and are in dissarray, my newly assigned task is to moni-tor the renegade elder gods, Raidens path. As the elders bid, I have taken actions to oppose the thunder god covertly, and has brought the decrepit body of the assaulted Shujinko before the gods. Now, the Elders have two champions..or rather to say: two wildcards.

At last I may escape the torment and anguish, thus I must be colleceted. A spectres wrath should be burning silently.

Opinions over Raiden:
..the thunder god has gone mad with grief over his own inability and the ignorance of those he protects. I must thread with ease, as for a thunder god is a deadly enemy capable of unmaking me. I have manipulated the path, so that Shujinko would survive his assault and given him the newer opportunity to actually make a difference. Shujinko pushed against raiden should distract and keep him away from the tournament for a short period of time. Then only time will tell...

Opinion over the Sub-Zero's:
...the title Sub-Zero couses me great hate and pride. One can rarely be slain by such a trained warrior, and one can wonder how you serve the brother of such treasonous villain. The first one perished by my rage, the other was saved by it. But should we clash again, I advise the younger one not to make the same mistake what his brother did...

Opinion over Noob Saibot:
...the first Sub-Zero has found proper punishment from my vengeance. An unfeeling shell of a murderer holds no interest to me...unless command is gievn to slay it. He is no more the LIn Kuei I has known or wish to know.

Opinion over Quan Chi:
...vile monster of unspoken evil, I make sure his entrails burn in hell before me for one last time. May he be alive or dead, he can only roam freely untill my time is done, or one of us fails permanently. I care not, as long as he is dead, I can watch with fading interest as he is trapped in my hells.

I definitely had to log in and post in this thread.

I love your work! The story is interesting and the bios are all pretty well developed. Excellent job on the pictures! I think you are an excellent drawer, I love the details and scary looks they all have. My faves are Rayden and Shang Tsung because they look so powerful! Quan Chi looks perfect! I really like Kung Laos cloth and perfect detail, though it looks nothing like him, but the pic of Scorpion looks a bit funny, lol, small in size when compared to the others.

Im really looking forward to your Sonya Blade drawing, I hope you update soon.

You should also focus on more of the “opinions over” part, I really like it, good idea on that. I know you cant do opinions of all the characters but some are important for others, for example, Bo Rai Cho (In Kung Laos Bio), Johnny Cage and Liu Kang (In Sonyas Bio), and Liu Kang and Sonya (In Raydens Bio).

Just some thoughts.

Excellent job! I would give you 5 Dragon Points for all this! grin

BO' RAI CHO

height: 5' 10''
weight: 370 lbs
origin: Lei Chen
affiliation: the White Lotus Society, ocasional co-instructor of the Wu Shi, formerly of the Scourge as an elite.

allies: Liu Kang, Kung Lao, Johnny Cage, Sonya Blade, Kitana, Shujinko
enemies: Li Mei, Onaga, Five Divine Generals, Shang Tsung, Quan Chi
nemesis: none

Kombat styles and weaponry: Zui Chuan, Sumai, Jojutsu

"I have spent most of my years by training the possible generation for the battles against Outworlds horrid rulers and evildoers. MOst of them didn't match my requirements, and few have been as willing and determined to keep up with my tutelage and scholarship. Few of them, Liu Kang, Shujin-ko and a handfull of those now dead were succesful in facing enemies like Shang Tsung, the mighty Goro, or evils now dead, but only the first two were hard enough to survive them.

I have spent ne'er hundreds of years with training, ad I would have wished to settle down. I have seen that Liu Kang was well even in afterlife, and that those sacrifices of the light were not completely in vain, as Shujinko undid Onaga. He accomplished the unspeakable, while our armies have clean-sed the vermin Tarkatan from Outworld heart kingdoms. Even as we have forged together our strenght to aid my pupil, it ws not without sacrifice. My newest pupil, Li Mei has turned upon us, and our combined strenght was needed to keep her from doing harm as her strenght was of the level of ours combined.

We were victorious for the time of being. I have led the knights of Edenia and the forces of outr coalition back to their homelands and rescued the Edenian princess Kitana from certain death of a raiding party of Baraka, his last act of vengeance. We brought back the injured but capable woman to her Kingdom, where she resumed rulership and I could be at rest for last. But peace came not. With the aid of those who gave me stay in the paradise of Edenia has ensured my escape from the enforcers of the new Queen of Edenia: Kitana! The knights hound me day after night, night after day, and so I lurk in the shadows of the metropolitan capital of Edenia with an enigmatic robed traveller strangely familiar. With this new compaignon I must travel through the sewers of this great city to the wilderness as we are both senctenced to death becouse of treason most sewere. What that means I have no Idea.

Opinions over Shujinko:
...now where wash he gone for shoo long? That medallion coulnd't have taxed hish fighting skillsh sho much...oh yesh, he found it afterall latersh. Sho much one can learn from shearching for medallionsh...

Opinions over Raiden:
...the world of ours, mortals, doesn't need gods to protect themselves, though Raiden is amdirable for his compassion towards mortals. But there is a difference in being in danger, or being reponsible you know. It's not his hide what can loose it's soul should the likes of Kahn or Tsung succeed...

Opinions over Liu Kang and Kung Lao:
...why did he never drink with me ish beyond me....-hic- ...at least kung Lao was doubtfull enough to receive a mug of ale for our wellbeing, hehehe...

Opinion over Baraka:
...live by the sword, trip and fall on the sword, die by the sword...so much for tarkatan philosophy of battle, and honor, and bloodshed, and ehhhh.

Zui Quan or Zui Chuan is the proper term for the drunken fist style. And thanks for the feedback. I'm finishing Sonya's pic this morning, and then I write down the remainng base character bios and put up the rosters gues-sing game so that you might have some fun.
