But he should be in the game, but more serious and less of a joke. He can still be drunk, but much darker and no farts and burps and pukes, ew.

I wouldn't mind him on the roster, I suppose. He's not my cup of tea fighting style wise but I can see the appeal and he's an interesting character story wise.

But yeah no more puking and farting, that overly juvenile.

I would really like to see him in MKX. He could be especially helpful to the heroes by training them to be stronger. Also, his gameplay could be revamped to be awesome if done right. I do think the farting can be done away with, but I don't have that much of a problem with his puke puddle. I would like to see a lot of alcohol-based specials plus martial arts-based specials. We could see a special move or two with his jo/tsue (cane).

I wouldn't mind, as long as he's similar to how he was in Deception. He was more serious in that game but still had some humor *mainly his second fatality*.

And frankly I am disappointed by the majority of people here. The whole point of the character is that he is a slob. Take away the puke puddle and farting and you get generic martial arts master no.23455.


And if that is too squirmy for you? Check this out, people pissed themselves in battles, dying men shit themselves, internal wounds usually became septic, a gunshot can lead to vomiting, or a well placed blow on the head. Battle is NOT an IDEALIZED, CLEAN or CIVILIZED event. It never was.


Neither is sex, and if it is, you are doing it wrong. But that's beside the point. I am not advocating realism, but really, this kind of prudishness is unbecoming. I love the character exactly because he deals a low blow to your exp[ectations.

Personally, I don't mind the puke puddle, but if it must be changed, it should be replaced with wine. As for the farting and burping, it's unnecessary for his gameplay.

To be honest, I don't think he really is a slob, I just think he acts like one to deceive his opponents. The moment he fights, the slobbery should vanish. Let it be in his intro and victory poses. Let it even be used in elements of the story mode, just not when he fights.

Only when Bo' Rai Cho fights does his truest form show, and his truest form is a martial arts master.

Bo Rai Chu and Quan Chi is the only characters I give a shit about this game. I never really played as Bo in Deadly Alliance but he was an interesting concept to me, but with MK9's mechanics, I will fucking main him if he's in the game.

Sure, I'd like for him to return. Lose the farts and vomit, but keep the burp.Use the Burp as a stun move and maybe he can smash a moonshine bottle on the ground and the moonshine can maybe burn the opponents feet when stepped in.
How about a move called Torched? Bo spits a mist of moonshine into a flame from a torch and catches his opponent on fire?

Seems better fitted for a fatality, though he's already done that.

Hands down yes, Bo' Rai' Cho is a bad ass, and he is unorthodox which makes him even more of a bad ass. He needs to stay as is, just do some MKX touchups on his gameplay and look, so that he can play smoothly.

Gonna be honest. I don't care about the character but his moveset could be interesting in 2D so that intrigues me.

Bo' Rai Cho should return, fat and (hopefully) missing the toilet "humor".
The vomiting and (occasional) belching doesn't bother me; it's the childish potty humor that's unappealing.

In terms of his moveset, someone here once mentioned, perhaps, he could take some cues from Virtua Fighter's resident drunken boxer, Shun Di, who can take a limited number of drinks per match to unlock moves and combos while also his boosting damage output.

He wouldn't BE Bo' Rai Cho if he isn't a drunk, doesn't use drunken master fist or suffer the consequences (puking, obesity, etc) of over-consumption of Outworld's ghastly rice wine.

He likes to be fun-loving and jovial, he fights with alarming deadly precision, and is solemn when his close students are in trouble.

If he is included these basic character traits CAN'T be stripped away, otherwise there might as well be some other character taking up a roster slot.

One BIG , NO!! I never really liked him. Like many of the new characters from Mortal Kombat Deadly Alliance to Armageddon, they didn't really add anything to the MK universe. Myself, I dislike joke characters like Bio Rai Cho and Havik. To me, he lacks a base motivation, to be involved in MK, other than some old guy that fights only when the plot of MK makes him to.

Yes he fits the storyline and is a fun character.

who else is going to try and convince Evil Lui Kang to stop killing people?
