He had a big opportunity to shine as a new character, have his own chapter, and actually have a bit of character development as explored in depth like the comic. I figured he would wind up being underwhelming, but everyone would hype him up based on looks alone. Just like Boba Fett. Everyone talks about how "badass" Boba Fett is, but he does nothing but get knocked into a pit by Han when he's blind. And I know they only talk about the movies because the great majority of people that say that about Boba Fett never read a Star Wars comic.
As opposed to the older games, where... characters were still largely hyped up on looks alone and there was no story mode for them to do "badass" things in at all.
I still think Erron's awesome, regardless of how important a character he was in story mode.
