They're not getting rid of every character.

Like Ed Boon said,"No one really dies in Mortal Kombat." If a fan favorite dies, they'll just bring them back after 2 or 3 games. Calm down.

Why? then everyone would lose interest in MK, and MK would take a nose dive. See MIKESPIKEMAN is going nutz because of this. It would be dumb and uncomfortable to have all new characters . . . it would be like a dumb Chinese fighter game with those pointless characters.

As XD84 said, they are not going to kill every character. Sub-Zero and Scorpion have been confirmed to return in future MKs.

well I play mortal kombat and street fighter and if u take out the fan favorit characters u preaty much fuck (can we cuss? if not sry) the game for all ppl its like me with sub zero and scorpio they are my main favorit characters and that girl with the pink thing over her face she since the first mortal kombat ppl have been making all kinds of combos with her she is the ultamat combo person so if u kill off the good,cool characters it really loses all of the point.

also this is MK online right so are we ever ganna play a mortal kombat game with the computer thats what i came here for is for the game and i dont see a game at all justa bunch of forums and stuff nothing of real intresst to me.

MKO is a mortal kombat news site and forum not a game. Let me guess, you went to SFO and you thought MKO would be like that.

While I'll probably buy MKA, I'm more interested in what they do to MK8 on the next console. I'm kinda looking forward to some new characters. I didn't really take to any of the newest characters like I did in the begining. It kinda felt like they ran out of ideas with the last two instalments but needed, or wanted to add something new to the game. (Rushed it)

I want some new cool characters to rave about. Looks, special moves, and fatalities. I love elementals and half man beasts'. Like Raiden and Motaro.
I also like the konquest mode, though in the last couple games that even felt like some kind of distraction (slightly)

actully no shit it is mortal kombat ONLINE not mortal kombat NEWS so yehh i kinda though that so i guess ill just have to keep searching i mean the least this place could do i put up a little mk game like the first one or something man. i mean i did learn a few fatalitys but nothin i couldent get from cheatcodes.com so if this is all it is then i prob wont be on here that much since theirs not actuall MKonline but just a MKnews crap........ohh but i will look on when the next game is comin out so its not all that bad. well thanks for your time and thank u dude for helping me clear that up : ) ohhh and have u been to SFO cause it looks like u might have and if so whats your screen name ill fight u some time if u want :)
