Not too sure about this. That said anything will be better than his horrible look from the last game. I hated it.

I think Reptiles BEST Human Alt. came from Mortal Kombat Gold... I'd be up for that in this game!

I hope it's either an alternate costume, a classic dlc costume or a variation. I liked Human Reptile, but I think they'll probably go for a take on his look in MK9.

MK9 was the first time since MK3 that I was ok with his design. I actually liked it a lot. Ive hated all the playable designs in between however. But still would love to see some fake human skin on a new original design.

Why the hell was anyone ever interested in a human Reptile? Don't we have enough humans (and human ninjas) already? Is a big lizard not interesting enough? The whole point of him being "REPTILE" should be for him to actually be a reptile.

I remember a few years ago I suggested a disguise made up human skin. I think it would be cool to literally have a skin that's sewn or stitched together to appear "human".

I love the look he had in MK9. But I think he should have an alternative human costume. Why don't make everybody happy. The same with female outfits. Many people have problems with how revealing they are and some like them the way they are now. Why can't NRS make both and please everybody?

If they were going to ever do that look again, you'd think they'd have done it in the last game, when it made story sense for him to hide his true form from people who've never met him before. Now it'd just be pointless, everyone's seen him green and scaly, what's he disguising?

But if the whole "alternate timelines meeting, different versions of each character in the same game" theory is true, then I suppose we could see original MK1 thru 3 Reptile.

Something about him being disguised as a human always sat well with me. Whats more ninja than disguising yourself to your surroundings? lol

What I want to stress the most on is the variance between humanoid reptile and disguised human reptile and what NRS can accomplish with this variation.

I have stated before in another thread that Humanoid reptile (drawing back to MK9) moves like a reptile. He slithers and is hunched forward, his combat is similar. A human disguised reptile could walk upright with his movements being more deliberate and human-like.

Not me, as far as I'm concerned he only ever looked human because of technical limitations in the game. Even then you saw his real form in his fatalities.

But now to Reptile.... As I said in my very own thread. Reptile need to be fixed... Appearance wise and if possible story wise.

About his look. Full human would be the best for me and maybe my inner fanboy from the old games would come back.

If not I would like to see a proper hybrid and not some turtle with a chest plate.

I want his MK4 look back.

Not me. We got an alt with his original green ninja outfit, I'd say that's enough. We have more than enough human ninjas in different colours, and being a reptile is what makes...you know "Reptile" unique!

Timeline of events:

1) Reptile form speculation begins amongst fanbase

2) People get vocal over which form they prefer and cross fingers really hard they'll get their wish

3) Reptile is revealed in a form that tries to incorporate both reptilian and human (read: ninja) traits

4) Everyone bitches

5) Repeat process 4-5 years later

Meh, I'd just assume they handle his human design like they did in MK9, as an alternate costume.

I admit the MK1-3 design is my preferred look for Reptile, but its still a throwback of the palette swapping past best left to bonus content.

I want his MK4 look back too but not for the purple pants.

Isn't reptiles thing to devolve over time or some shit? Canonically he would be more reptilian than MK9...but yea "multiple versions" should keep every body happy....right? If they could take his MK4 appearance and but give him a cooler outfit that'd be nice.
