In all seriousness, wasn't Khameleon originally confirmed to not be on the Wii but with enough complains, they did put her in? Not sure how the last Mortal Kombat's DLC got in.

Honestly, I think that MK's last DLC got in because those were characters that they wanted to put in the game originally, monies Freddy, but either couldn't figure out a way to put them in the story, or ran out of time and had to just make them DLC.

With Rain and Kenshi, they have a fan following so there would have been a lot of upset people if they weren't in the game in one way or another. I think people would have understood if Kenshi wasn't in, but not Rain.

Boon has hated Drahmin since they started working on him. I admit he's a cool character looks wise. Some sort of African Demon look which I thought was pretty awesome. But I don't think he is a character that's ever going to add much story wise and is therefore easily replaceable as well as forgettable.

Boon is so self-absorbed.. Just because he doesn't like a character doesn't mean everyone does. -_-'

I wouldn't mind seeing him back. Something about psychotically bludgeoning people while assaulting them with swarms of pestilence was highly entertaining.

As others have said the flies need stay, just made a bit more sinister in presentation.

Never liked Drahmin. Just a dirtier version of meat with a club and a mask.

I know what you mean, Reptile, Smoke, Noob-Saibot, and Ermac are terrible characters.

Most of the fanbase has already accepted that Drahmin won't be in MKX, since Ed Boon deconfirmed him. But is it because he's unpopular that he won't return, or is it just because Ed Boon doesn't like the character?

I know Boon would probably bring him back if there was huge demand, but then again, I've read that he also doesn't like Rain, who's much more popular than Drahmin, and that he trolls Rain fans, too. I even remember some people on this board accepting Rain's likely absence from MKX for that same reason.

It seems some fans are very much willing to let Ed Boon decide who won't be coming back, even if they don't personally agree.

So, would you personally want Drahmin back, or not?

If they changed his looks and moveset, yes. His story was cool, and the notes in his concept art about him being a former warlord etc. is interesting... but the execution of him in the games was bad.

He is one of the few characters from the MKDA-MKA era that I actually liked along with Havik so I wouldn't be mad if he came back. I think he needs some design tweeks though. He looked pretty good but I personally didn't like that brown diaper he wore in his primary costume much lol

Ed Boon doesn't say who will be in and who won't. He doesn't have THAT kind of control over the series because he 's not the only one who makes decisions. If nobody liked Scorpion, the team wouldn't put Scorpion in every game.

Anyway, I'd actually like to see Drahmin return. Not because of his story or anything, I think he's boring as shit. But gameplay wise, I can see potential with his moveset.

I always thought he was kind of a stupid character personally. He just never clicked with me in any way, shape, or form. I genuinely would not give two fucks if he never showed up again. That said however I understand that he has a fanbase and bad outings in the past should not exclude characters from coming back. As with any character if they could do something interesting or unique then why not bring him back?

Like I said though I'm extremely indifferent regarding Drahmin.

I liked his design, the mask specifically and story.

The move set was wack, but then, that was the case with ALL of characters in the 3D games...

There was nothing wrong with Drahmin to begin with.

I would rather have other 3D era characters, like Tanya, Reiko, Fujin, Shinnok, Havik and Sareena.. But I wouldn ́t complain about Drahmin

I never liked Drahmin, just never interested me besides the fact that he was a Oni from the Netherrealm. His moveset & fatality was just lame. I honestly would never care if he ever came back.

I don't think Boon dislikes Rain. The way he's been treated in contrast to the other ninjas makes people feel like that's true what with him only appearing in compilation games thus far, being DLC in MK9 instead of in the default roster, ect. But honestly, I think Boon just doesn't care. Not that he dislikes Rain or hates him, he just seems indifferent.

Boon seems indifferent to ANYONE from MK4 and upward(Outcasts from MKT Rain, K/Chameleon included). The only newer characters he seems to like are Kenshi, Havik, Bo'Rai'Cho, and of course his secret lover Quan Chi.

The quick answer is yes, I'd like to see Drahmin return for MKX.

Like most of the 3D characters, I think that there are some great ideas behind this character as well as some definite flaws.

What I like:

-The mask is awsome. One of the coolest post MK2 looks in the series.
-His character background is really cool and could help him fit in to any story involving Quan Chi, Shinnok etc.
-I like what happens in his story and STILL to this day want to know what happened to him.

What I dislike:

-His outfit needs work. His alt isn't terrible, but overall he needed more "dead warlord" in his look as opposed to the diaper look.
-His moves weren't great. Ball of flies is kinda silly and so is the uppercut.
-Not a huge fan of the iron club hand.

So yeah, for me... You can improve upon a look and you can fix a move set and make it better, more unique, more interesting etc. But the base concept of a character is where someone really sinks or swims and Drahmin, to me, is one of the coolest concepts in MK. Really hope he comes back at some point.
