Some good info from Ed Boon aside from confirming for the 4 millionth time that characters aren't locked to certain factions.

I imagine that it will only cover the first pack, the rest we will probably have to buy like everybody else once they are released.

While Angry Joe comes off a tad bit annoying at times, it's seems to me that it looks like Ed feels less pressure with him compared to other interviewers. He's just a fan and it's almost like its less Q&A and really they're just hanging out discussing the game.

I really really hope we get more Kombat Packs.

Because you got Baraka, Fujin, Bo Rai'Cho, Li Mei and maybe Frost as big possibilities already. And then there's Havik and Reiko gaining a lot of positive attention thanks to the comic. And of course Sektor/Cyrax and their notable disappearance have got a lot of people talking.

Here's hoping but we've heard this before with MK9 and additional content never came because of the Vita port and Injustice.

That Joe guy is so freaking annoying, hurts to watch.

I would hope for those characters as well but it's likely Baraka, Shan Tsung, Smoke, Noob and Jade come first since they have bigger fanbase and can guarantee more sales.

I do not see how Joe is annoying or irratating. He just looks like a fan and at least knows about the series. Good thing he asked some questions most interviewers would probably never ask. Hopefully no microtransactions. That would annoy me no end. Looks like they upgraded the Krypt big time.

So we have to buy the guests if we hope to see more MK characters? Nasty.

Hell i'll buy Predator and Jason if it means Noob Saibot and Smoke down the line. Had to laugh when Joe said there weren't any hispanic characters in Mortal Kombat. Uhh did he forget about Mavado?

I felt the urge to shoot Joe in the face when he started jizzing about future guests. I don't give a fuck about more guests. I want more Kombatants.

Better believe I'd do it for Baraka, Havik and Fujin but:

1 my lone purchase isnt necassarily a guarantee and if they actually say "sorry guys no more:( get hype for Injustice2" then I'm suckered into spending an additional 30 dollars. I don't even play Injustice.

2 while I'd buy it I wouldn't download the guests.

Maybe it will happen though Predator and Jason will sell, Tanya will sell among us who wanted to see an MK4 character return besides Shinnok. And Tremor has a chunk of fanbase and is a ninja.

Not to mention we can demo them for those on the fence about it.

I dont know I just can't drop nearly 500 dollars for a new console, game and The Kombat Pack on the promise of "maybe, depending on certain factors" it's too risky.

But if there is indeed more and you put those three in through Kombat Packs then yeah I'd buy it

I feel that what may seem irritating or annoying to some people is the very energetic and enthusiastic response that AngryJoe expresses. I know that some of them did come off a bit too strong or dramatic. He certainly does have an unorthodox interview style that appears less formal and more zany that other interviewers that I have seen. It certainly does have a lot of personality, I can certainly tell you that much.

However, I must give AngryJoe tremendous credit for asking a question that I had been thinking about alot and I hadn't noticed any interviewer ask:

unlockable content in the krypt. He specifically asked if there was going to be crazy, funny stuff to unlock like the "cooking with scorpion" video. Man, I was surprised he would ask something like that. Most of the other interviewers have asked about the same damn things. i finally have someone ask something unique.

I also like how Ed avoided giving a direct answer, and went more into detail about how the krypt changed and how it appears to be that the krypt would be kind of a like puzzle game or sorts, which I found very interesting.

I do hope that the extra stuff in the krypt is worth unlocking.

Actually he does.

He intentionally interrupts the people in interviews after some time because
he wants to ask more than 3 questions with each 5 min PR answers.

He does this on purpose to ask as many questions as possible.

Also he is the only one who was able to ask hard hitting questions about Netcode, DLC, Microtransactions, shitty Ports and last gen delay.

Give him some props.
