Ive wanted MK to expand their Character Types for a while now.. Ive wanted a persian character like out of Mace: The Dark Ages, (which also has a viking in it btw) but they seem to be limited as to what they give us. I dont know why, out of everything to choose from they decided to give us a vampire.. but thats neither here nor there...

Bottom line, the only certainty about the next game is that Scorpion and Sub-Zero will be in it.. thats ALL we know for now

I am not contra normanns in MK, but viking is a misnomer. A horned helm?
Noone of the normanns wore horned helms....


Hmm, danish bearded axe, the frankish francisca, somewhat modern a two-handed sword called bidenhander, in terms of weapon multiplication they far outbeat the chinese....

First, welcome to MkO d00d.

1-3 are all questionable.

Personally now, I don't want a character that has all kinds of crazy armor on him//her. We have Soul Calibur, and a plethora of other games to get that feel from.

I don't mind if they sorta "graze" the surface of that genre and culture, but I don't want a character that is full on Arcadian, or barbarian armor like say Siegfried, or Rock from soul Calibur. I think that has something to do with why I don't like the characters Taven and Deagon...because I don't think they exactly "belong" in Mk. It's just a vibe I guess.

I like how most mortal kombat characters are clothed by personality more than by sheer purpose. For instance, you wear metal armor "because", you need protection from being stabbed.

In mortal kombat, I think its cool that these characters walk around with minimal armor (for the most part), and are supposed to be "so good they'll never get hit". lol

1) Maybe. But only a female cyborg/a cyborg that knows Capoiera.

2) Probably, but not likely.

3) Hm...Unlikely.

The only viking I'll accept, would be Thor.God of thunder vs god of thunder. That is if Raiden returns, of course...;)

Thor is a small-fry compared to stuff like baldr, Jormungand or the Einher-jarl.

There will prorbaly be at least 1 cyborg.

Maybe nightwolf will be in there .Every game has those minor characters that they just throw in there, im not saying that Nightwolf is minor, but like if he wasnt in the game ,it wouldn't make a difference.But if he was in there than many people would be happy because he would be one of the "old school" characters.
If they had a viking....that would seem a little awkward to have him in an mk game, like where would he fit in eh?
