I'm not really happy about the comic reveals, I mean why not reveal the guys first for the game then in the comic?

Jax would be somewhat of an unexpected character, but Liu Kang is evident and will be in, either playable or boss.



Don't exclude that boot 6 could possibly be female.

You know what? You are probably right. Seems most logical. Not that it wouldn't excite me, but I could really get down on a new character and an unexpected one.

I believe we arent getting any mk 9 chacters since we just got kitana and kung lao. My guess is we get a new character amd fujin.

Just because they're expected doesn't make them boring.

Why are people taking the Gamestop trailer as confirmed characters? That is some dude that works for a shop talking about what he thinks. Nothing confirmed. He has no ties to NRS, all he knows about the game is what we know plus the pre-order, pricing and release details.

Unless Mileena and Tsung are pre-order or future DLC exclusives. that Gamestop ad is pure speculation. Still, it of course doesn't rule them out, just that they're not confirmed. Same with Fujin. People on this forum are EXPECTING him now because they've put it in their own heads

Everybody has its own opinion, in mine and many other opinions those characters are boring.

Because that may not have anything to do with both reveals. That's about the stream. This about a possibility of new videos and a whole other reveal that won't be in the stream most likely.

Yeah, that makes sense. I'm fine with both of them coming back. I hope that they take Shang Tsung in a really cool new direction. I still want to see the last hope / do what Raiden won't / anti-hero archtype for Shang Tsung. I think that it would fit him.

Mileena? As long as they're trying not to make her seem like a child that happens to have the body of a 24 year old victoria's secret model, I'll be okay. I kinda hope they make her more of a ruthless assassin with aims toward controlling outworld rather than this hokey, proverbial moustache twirling evil monster that has to laugh at how evil they are.

Because this isn't a case of a gamestop retail employee behind the counter stating that "He heard Shang and Mileena were in the game". This is in a specifically made commercial for the game produced by the company to be broadcasted across stores nationwide. Gamestop are far more likely to have information and details about the game unavailable to the general public as received from NRS. There's always a set of rules and details the company provides to game stores to be advertised; in a case like this, it's very possible they were given no guidelines as to which characters they could discuss, or could be working from an outdated release schedule, etc.

These kinds of leaks happen from stores all the time. Release dates, game titles, etc.

Oh, I agree. I was happy with Kitana's reveal, even though being the second dead character after Kung Lao to already return spoiled her reveal a bit. She should have been revealed before him.

I'd be happy if the next revealed characters were Mileena, Baraka, Reptile, and Sonya. Johnny would do too, or even finally a Goro gameplay vid.

But Jax, Liu Kang and Shang Tsung, all more important and expected than aforementioned five, would be boring at this point, Jax especially. They've revealed nothing but core characters so far, and none so far are those I mentioned in the second paragraph.

So new character, unexpected returnee, one of those five characters, or a Goro gameplay vid, please.

Wouldn't it make sense to see some gameplay first to decide whether they are boring or not? I mean look at Raiden, he was very expected and he looks fun as hell.

Never been a fan of them both, never will. Rather see Havik and other past MK3 characters get some light.

If there's one out of Fujin, Shang Tsung or a new characer, I will be forced to overclock my hype-reactor
