There was already a HUGE topic about this when she was first revealed. That thing was so big it nearly broke the forums. I for one am not a fan since she was pretty skimpy prior to the battle damage.

Sonya had the most revealing body damage back in MKvsDC.

This body damage is even more revealing and I thought that would be close to impossible considering how much she showed in MKvsDC when hurt.

The developers are clearly dying to dress Miss Blade in a ninja-thong, but they know the fans wouldn't allow it, so, this is the only way they can get away with it to satisfy their dreams.

It's a lot, but, it looks awesome. If THAT was how her costume was supposed to look, then yes, there would be a major problem.

Now, back to her undershirt...

Everyone in this fucking game is going to have battle damage.

I think it's a little much given her actual costume is revealing enough. A little tear here and there would've been fine, but stripping her down to nearly a thong and high heels is overtly horny lol. I don't mind too much, though, she looks hot.

They took SF4 approach for the game and Soul Calibur 4 approach to the women.

I'm confident everyone will have a classic costume downloadable, so I'm not so concerned about Sonya's costume anymore.

At first I thought it was an alternate costume. I was like "What? Sonya in thigh boots?"

So no. I don't like it. It looks ridiculous on her.

The pic threw me off at first because I thought she looked bald. I'm sure now that it's just the low resolution of the picture making her hair blend in with her skin color, but when I first saw it, I thought "does her battle damage involve getting all her hair burnt off?"

As for the ripped clothes...meh. It's fine, I guess. I don't really care. A character dressed unrealistically skimpy bugs me sometimes, but when your clothes are being torn up in a fight, and this is happening to every character in the game, I don't care about the tears revealing bare ass or sideboob because it's not like she's dressed that way on purpose, her clothes are getting ripped up and that happens to every character.

I'm not the biggest fan of the battle damage anyway though, I'd rather be able to admire the character models without a whole bunch of blood and slashes making them look gross.

Does anyone else have a problem with the battle damage in general? At least on clothes?

I mean for example, Sonya's in MK VS DC... her shirt ripped (conveniently on her boob just below her nipple)... from getting punched? :S If they're being grabbled by jax or something I can see a shirt being ripped in it's entirety (realistically speaking)... but I just dont' see the rest of it as particularly "realistic". Cool perhaps but sometimes I just have to think... huh?

For example, the Sonya scan from this youtube video... just her thigh has a big chunk ripped out of her pants... >_O How did that happen? How did a kick to her thigh remove that part? And if she had been cut with a sword or something shouldn't there be blood? :S

probably a sword cut to the tigh her thigh looks beat up on there so possibly yea.

I'm still hoping there's an option to turn off battle damage so we can admire the character damage!
