Personally, I like his MK4 alternate the best. Good mix of ninja and reptilian features. His face/mask from the MK2 commercial is sickkkk! tongue
Favorites from Top to Bottom (1 being best)
1. MK4 Alternate
2. MK9 Retro
3. UMK3
4. MK
5. MK2
6. MK9 Primary
6. MKSM
7. MKA Primary
8. MKA Alternate
9. MK4 Primary
10. MKDA Alternate
11. MKDA Primary
My favorite look of Reptile is still his MK 2 look so naturally I'll say his new DLC attire!

Human Reptile all the way. I loved it how he would hide his reptilian flesh like Scorpion hides his burning skull. His primary in this game would make more since to me as his alternate. That's why Im getting his classic look from amazon.

I loved his MK4 look. The humanoid serpent-like look was most awesome. However, his costume was rather lacking, so if adding elements from his MKDA main outfit, he would be perfect!

However, I do like his new look as well, though the ninja hood annoys me alot. He should just lose the hood, then he'd look alot better in my opinion.

I actually like the new one the best, it just seems like the right mixture of human and reptile. The MK4 and MKDA look are my least favorite.

MK2 Reptile Design

MK3 Win/Battle Poses and stuff like that.

MKSM Reptile was the best for all of the above for me though.

See, I don't get why people prefer the palette swaps over the original designs.
Can anyone explain it to me?

His MKII look is the best one, followed closely by 2011's look. His MK4 one was nice but his DA one was appalling. The SM/A one was a non-event, and his "Klassic" costume sucks because of that hood!

Any look is fine as long as they never ever go back to the... Deadly Alliance look.

Omigosh I hated that look. That was not Reptile at all! How do you go from looking like a pure human creature to a snake-like purple pants wearing freak to that? Where did he magically obtain that tail from?

My goodness... That was a horrible look and may it rest in Hell for all eternity.

It's in the story.

And I would not call this a "pure human creature":

I prefer the Shaolin Monks look.

I've never been quite comfortable with the MK1 thru 3 flesh disguise. I would be if they made it visible how it works, though.

Like is he changing the color of his scales like a chameleon (in which case, his skin should have a scaly texture) Is he wearing the skin of somebody he killed? (in which case, the skin should look ripped/bloody/sewn together)

What is the nature of the disguise? You can't just tell me he conjured perfect fake skin all over his body magically, Reptile's not a wizard. The IDEA of the disguise is not a bad one, I just think that, with today's graphics, they could do a lot more on the art design side of things to make it work instead of just tossing a non-canon DLC palette swap out there.

I also don't really like the MK9 costume just because the "topless with a breastplate and ski mask" combo looks awkward. If he just had a damn shirt on, I'd like it a lot better. I also wish the pants were black instead of green. He just looks off. The "bird mask" thing doesn't really bother me any though, I think it makes him look a bit turtle-like, which is appropriate.

I did like the ragged gauze wrappings better though because it gave Reptile a more "I'm poor and wretched and have to clothe myself in tattered rags" look fitting to his backstory and personality.

- You'd have to let go of the fact that he's a pallet swap first. Start with "Reptile" as a pure concept.

- Now, visualize a man who is a ninja.

- Now, combine those two, and disguise the fact that "there's a reptile beneath the mask.

I enjoy the covert Reptile.

I do not see it anywhere in his Deadly Alliance bio how he gets a tail.

All I see is how he saw Kahn's dead body, helping Nitara and going after Cyrax.

Completely disguising yourself as a human when you're a lizard and having everyone believe you're human... well...

Ahh, so it's the concept you like, not the actual look?

Wasn't he in cahoots with Shang Tsung and Shao Kahn?

Wait...that wasn't a rhetorical question?

You ACTUALLY don't know about his de-volution?

How do you DO this? How do you constantly tell me you're a fan of MK for the story but never know ANYTHING from the story?

Take a second look at this picture, I thought the movie Reptile picture that you have of him was Chameleon for a second. I was going to slap you if that was. Hahaha

"Shao Kahn had sent orders to Shang Tsung, commanding the sorcerer to aid him in the battle against the united forces of Edenia and the Shokan. The message was delivered by Reptile. At first, Shang Tsung did not recognize Reptile, for he had morphed into something more primal than in years past. Shang Tsung mistook Reptile for an assassin and braced for an attack."

Don't fucking start with me, I'm not going to start this bullshit again. I told you once before Razor, I don't sit on my ass reading page after page, absorbing so much MK info when I don't have the time like you do. I have better things to do with my life rather than know EVERY GODDAMN thing about Mortal Kombat

You want to complain about this, take it with me through IM, I'm not going to cave into your constant ignorance and watching you get irritated by something so stupid in public. You want to figure this out, IM me, otherwise, leave me the fuck alone.
