I probably sound like a broken record. Other than this being the best Kitana costume ever and it fits her so well, the only details that bother me are the laces on her top, and the loin cloth. The laces should not lace all the way up, there should only be the bottom two X's, kinda like Jade's new costume. Kitana's loin cloth should be longer, and I wouldnt mind if it was front and back either, but just front works too. Of course the heels should be higher also.

You're fine lol. I like how it's laced up all the way to the top. In my opinion, it would look undone if they were to take off the top 2 laces. I'm used to the loincloth now. I would have agreed with you when I first saw it, but I think this works. And you are the first person I've seen say they wanted her heels to be higher lol

I think the laces going all the way up is too much, it looks weird, maybe if they were gray instead of black, to balance all the white/silver accents. I still think they should cut off the top two laces though. About the heels, If they are going to put them in high heels at least put them in legit high heels, none of this half low heel crap. Lets see the Christian Louboutin 5 inch kind.

This is actually what I hated about a lot of the costumes they give the characters. These crotch flaps/dick and pussy capes have go to go.

I don't get your problem with the lace though.... Maybe that they should be silver, but leaving them with only two or so just makes the outfit even less interesting (and the criss crosses are a Kitana staple. Loved 'em since UMK3)


Not to be shallow and repetitive... but really..... what is so great about this outfit? There's a few shining things... the tiara, her wrist thingymajigs....
But it really is blandy mc bland bland. This looks like Kreate-a-fighter.....
And seriously that hair!!! She deserves so much. The concept of it, that they put in the render, FABULOUS...... But it's just not created in game nicely AT ALL. The way it all shoots out the back and then succumbs to gravity in a strange tube. The way little bits stick out to give it some depth but really just look odd.... It's really justl ike female action figure hair >_O They should've just made it like her MKII hair


Usual hopes though.... that she's absolute badass, not just a damsel (though I like her being a real woman, and a princess to boot)... that they really show her anguish at finding out who she is, and really shows the Mileena V Kitana hate.

Yeah the heel height and shape of those heels is what I would like to see for the high heels in the game, I have always hated short heels. If your gonna wear high heels you gotta wear at least 4 inches.

A valid criticism of heels full stop is that it's a bit ridiculous to do this kind of martial arts in them.... but hey it looks hot... and these are people shooting ice out of their hands so some fantasy is allowed...

HOWEVER

As I've said on here before... I have been in two fights in my life, when I was in drag. I was wearing platform stilettos (albeit, very well made and strong ones) and could run, kick and go ninja on their asses perfectly fine.... well... maybe not ninja.... but if I, a guy whose worn heels perhaps ten times in my life, can successfully navigate a punchup, then surely these near-supernatural chicks with years of training can manage

Yeah they should make Kitana's laces gray or silver definitely. btw, Jaded-Raven, how excited are you to use Kitana and Jade in tag mode. I cannot wait. If only somehow we had Tanya, Jade/Kitana vs Tanya/Mileena.

Jade will of course be my main, but now I have to rethink who I want as my tag partner... At first it was Kitana, but after having seen Noob Saibot's gameplay video, I might use him instead...

I'll have to try a few characters out with Jade before I choose...

I loved how Kitana's face looked in MK vs. DC and I LOVE how her face looks now. It looks so tender and peaceful.

However...

That hair has no remedy! I hate her hair, but its not that big of a deal. I still love Kitana, even though her hair bugs the crap out of me. I just hope that next time they put all that hair in a bun or something. Maybe she'll have a bun or some kind of better looking hair in her alternate costume? =)

I love Kitana's hair. It is perfect. She has had enough buns and ponytails. Its time for something different. I actually like its length, It was really long in MKDA-MKDC, I like the continuity and the hair style is perfect for Kitana. The animation will be fixed, I dont know why people are still worried about that.

I hope they touch on the Kitana/Goro relationship, they showed it in MKDA. I think its a good detail that in Kitana's time spent in Shao Khan's castle, she made friends with some of his other subjects. Like with Jade.

I never really thought of Kitana's relationship with Goro pre MKDA. They seemed like they were comfortable with each other in Kung Lao's MKgold ending, maybe they were at least friends.

In Kitana's konquest in MKDA, it said something about how Kitana stayed by Goro's side until he died, and she was mourning her "fallen friend" in her MKDA ending.
