Shakin' and Cryin' at the Sindel (I GONN' BE ABLE TO WHIP MY HAIR AS I WHIPE YO ASS), Mileena (I love Leelu <3 ) and Kratos (cute short muscle man) details.
I like them unlocked personally. It helps to have a full roster available when playing with casual gamer friends who want to try out a few characters to find one they're comfortable with. I always disliked MKDA having like 4 characters available to start with. Really limited 2 player enjoyment.

Loving the information on Jade. Also all characters unlocked bar two sounds good to me. Never really got the appeal of unlocking characters, the actual fighting adds enough replay and longevity for me...

I had PS2, they were just one color. So they were multi on the Wii? I did not know that.

Sheeva sounds cool. I'm glad not every character is a combo machine. Sheeva will be dangerous if someone figures out how to properly use her normals (range and hit detection) to open opportunity to throw.
Kintaro might actually overcome the look with a nice X-ray and hard difficulty.
I wonder if all bosses will have 2 fatalitys. If so this game may never come out of the X-box. Anyone trying to buy a copy of MvC3? hah.

NVM... I be trippin', yo.
I was playing MKA and MKU at the same time, and I must've gotten mixed up.
MKA does indeed only have one type of Koin, on Wii as well.
I actually prefer this- I wasn't a fan of having so many different types of Koins.

Yeah it eliminates the koin rage I got during DA-D

Indeed, trying to gather up about half a dozen different types of Koins in those games was excruciating, particularly when you needed to get some of them only during the Test your Might/Sight games. Oy.

Yeah, the whole rainbow set of coins was just annoying. XD
Glad they turned it back to only gold coins in MKA. But after having beaten Konquest mode, they became rather useless other than in Kreate-a-Fighter.

Kind of a bummer that you can't buy any characters. Gives me something to work towards.
Guess I'll be focusing on alts.

It's a fighting game, the only thing you need to "work towards" is getting better at the game. I'm glad that pretty much the entire roster is unlocked aside from the "secret" characters because that's honestly how it SHOULD be. I shouldn't have to play through Challenge Tower or whatever BS singleplayer stuff just to unlock Stryker after all but to unlock Cyber Sub-Zero? Sure.

I was hoping every character to be playable from the get go.
Having most of the fighters unlocked is better for tournament play. It would really suck to have to unlock a bunch of characters for many different machines.
Plus wouldn't rather be able to play as who you want. I just don't see the point of making a large part of the roster locked.

Not really true. I'm not a super competitive gamer, and me playing against my friends takes precedence over me playing ranked games online.
I don't play MK to become the best. I play to have fun. And playing through various modes to reach an achievable goal entertains me.
I don't think guys like Stryker should be overly difficult to unlock. But I wouldnt mind him being in the krypt. Rewards players for "playing". Not necessarily being good at the game.

Finally! Some more info about Sheeva and Jade! I kind of like this new cocky attitude she's taking on. She sounds overly confident. I guess she should be...she's a bad bitch...being Shao Khan's right hand woman will do it to ya I suppose.
Sheeva's alt sounds so amazing too. Black face paint with a braid? **CREAMS.**

Doesn't alt costumes, concept art, music, and game modes satisfy your need for unlocking. What value does locking up the roster achieve.

I wish you would not take what I said to an extreme level.
I said not having them unlockable is "kind of a bummer" but "I guess I'll focus on alts"
My post is clearly not one of an enraged man, bitter at the situation. Its one of a slightly dissapointed guy, who shrugs it off because its not that big of a deal.
What I'm trying to say is the more big things to unlock, the more I want to play. Characters would motivate me the most, but not having them isnt the end of days.

I wasn't trying to be aggressive with my statement. Just asking why does it have to be characters that need unlocking. To put it in simpler terms.
I just think that the game should drive you to play. Not what goody you could get. If you do something you might not want to do.
