raiden looks great in most games except for his 2nd outfit in mk deception where he looked awful without his hat, if any of you guys could put a picture of what im talking about, could help this thread.

Raiden, Kano, Sonya, Shang Tsung, Baraka, Sub-Zero, Kitana and possibly Shao Kahn all use the same models from MKDC, though some were modified a bit.

That said, I hate Raiden's primary. Just a crappy copy/paste from MKDC mixedf with his even uglier MK2 look.

It's more of his Shaolin Monks design but with a little essence of the MKvsDCU design.
A few thing they keep from the MKvsDCU design is the shin guards, an extra shirt under the white shirt and arm guards. All slightly different from the MKvsDCU model of course.

And I approve of this model than the MKvsDCU. No sleeves and a cape? EW.

Best upgrade from MK2, mos def.

He looks decent in MK9. The dark Raiden alt out-does the primary (even though the cape has shitty animation)

I was satisfied with MK8 Raiden's design too, but that took a bit of digesting at first. The sleeveless thing threw everyone off I think.

The model in MK9 is just better all around though.
