They're making it very evident that Rain's still around. Anyone think that maybe, since his VS. screens weren't available that he could be hidden like Jade, Noob, and Smoke were in MKII? Not playable, but fightable?

Of course, DLC eventually, but I think him being secret like that for awhile would be a nice touch.

i guess so but i never pictured him as a hidden character. I opt for dlc if he's not in the game out of the box.

Well, he was in the MK3 attract mode before making it in UMK3 IIRC, that's pretty close to a Hidden Character, isn't it? lol

Me too, I just remember hearing he appeared there first before being playable in UMK3.

i guess had to meet a certain requirement to fight him.
