hinting at pax east..great news. I bought PAX East tickets when they went on sale hoping they'd demo it there. If anyone is considering going you better buy tickets ASAP, they will sell out. They might already have sold out of 3 day passes.

So the roster is finalized

I'm excited that the select screen is updated. It means that the roster has been finalized, there may be more character slots than before, and maybe has a better overall look than just a plain black background.

And hopefully pictures behind the characters, like in the older MKs. Not just them all facing front with the same background in their select square.

just because ed said he saw the final select screen doesnt mean its changed necessarily, could just mean the one we've all seen has been fully filled in and thats what he saw. Kinda presumptious to assume its been changed based on that comment alone

I think the main roster has been finalized for months. As a source, I site several Hector interviews where he states that "he knows who the characters are, but he can't tell (interviewer)." I think they're pretty well prepared now though to start the DLC push very soon after release. Thus, why it's already being mentioned. I'm not expecting one winner out of this either. I expect them to look at the top four-five choices and do pros and cons.

I just hope they don't get lazy and consider just touching up old models and importing them into the game. That would be dull.

It looks like Quan Chi is fighting someone(sometimes it looks like Liu Kang, and others it looks like it might be a female) on the other pit bridge behind Scorp and Subby, and also behind the Sonya fights. Just because he was not mentioned in the first three games we all know that he was always there in cannon, so the MK team can throw him in there anytime they want with that reasoning. Anyway my bet is that Quan Chi will be the new "secret reveal" Boon was referring to
