Probley had the e3 demo, or maybe that one demo at pax east. I bet they been playing it for weeks to see if it was trust worthy.

Hey everyone,

I don't really know much about these events but I'm guessing this is great news! I do have a question though, it says that MK will only feature the single player mode. I was under the impression that people fought each other at these events. Does this mean that they will just be fighting against the AI?

Ahh, good eye. I think there will be other "modes" besides Single (probably mean versus) such as Chess kombat or "bowling" kombat (lets hope not) that will not be playable at evo. Evo is definitely a human v human tournament.

Well I already got my hotel and plane ticket ready to go.Wow this a great day hopefully I can try to win the Mk and Tekken 6 tourneys.As for SSF4 thats a whole another monster.

Good luck bro. I'll be watching the stream live. Hopefully, G4tv will stream it again as part of the sponsorship in addition to levelup. That would do wonders for the FG community as a whole.

What it means is that two human players will fight 1v1 against each other and the Tag-Team mode will not be used.

You sure? Remember MVC3 is 3 characters a side, even with one player. You play tag by yourself using two characters it doesn't mean you play with a partner.

I feel truly vindicated being able to say that after spending the entire PS2 generation banging the "gameplay" drum. I couldn't be happier right now.

Temp broke this to me some days ago, but I'm pleased to see it confirmed.

More than anything else, I'm looking forward to seeing how MK fandom gets on with the Evo crowd as previous meetings have been... interesting.

Interesting that it's been announced yet the game isn't even out for 3months.

The assumption that the EVO peoples have had some chance to test the game, possibly even give feedback to the MK team, for it to be included in the lineup.

Otherwise as with the past games, all the talking up of the gameplay prior to release end up being alot of hot air.
