Rain
- Because I love the ninja characters and Rain would make it complete.
- His apearance should be like the concept art shown earlier, but with a mask instead of a veil.
Specials
Mind Control Orb - Once again, like in MKT, It allows you to move the character in any desired direction. Left, right, up or down.
ENHANCED: It lets you control the opponent for a longer period of time.
Roundhouse Kick - Has the same effect as in MKT
ENHANCED: He kicks the opponent a second time, re-apearing on the other side.
Lightning Shock - Instead of the bolt coming from the sky, it should come from his hand.
ENHANCED: The lightning color turns purple and shoots a second bolt from his other hand, at the same time.
Teleport - Rain creates a puddle and drops down from it. Then a new puddle appears on the other side and Rain comes up from it.
ENHANCED: Does it a second time but ends up infront of the enemy.
Water Beam - Rain fires a beam of water at the opponent.
ENHANCED: He shoots it at the ground where a puddles lies. Then where ever the opponent is standing, it comes up and knocks them in the air, allowing a juggle.
Flood - Rain stomps on the ground and small waves of water go out in all directions, sending the opponent in the air. Similar to Jax's ground pound.
ENHANCED: The radious of the attack increases.
Tidal Waves - Rain creates a mini tidal wave ( but small enough to jump over ) that slides across the stage and damages the opponent.
ENHANCED: The wave is bigger and impossible to jump over.
X-Ray: Tsunami - Rain does his enhanced Water Beam move and Ultimate Roundhouse kicks them in the chest, cracking the ribcage. The opponent , on the other side, flys toward Rain and grabs them by the throat. Then holds up his other hand and fires a lightning bolt to their face, shattering their skull and sends them flying across the stage.
Fatalitys
Drenched Shock: Rain fires a steam of water down near his feet and slowly raising his hands until it hits the opponent, leaving a trail of water behind and the opponent drenched.
Then Rain summons a bolt of lightning onto the beginning of the water trail. The electrical current runs through the trail up to the opponent electrocuting him until they explode with explit gore and blood.
Puddle of Thunder: Rain makes a puddle around the opponent's feet and summons a lightning bolt right in the middle of the puddle, slicing the opponent in half. But as the 2 halves split, there are electrical arcs from one half to the other and as the body splits even more; the arcs get longer until they break in a spark. This continues until the 2 halves are completely split and on the ground. The bones and meat are giving off sparks.
Intro: He appears by his teleport move and says. "Your death is near"
Win Pose: Raises his arms and 2 gysers appear by his side. He fires a lightning bolt at the right one. He holds up his other hand as the lightning bolt comes out the left one and into his hand and holds this pose until the screen fades

Nice!!!!
These are the things I'd love to see as DLC:
- Characters: Frost, Tanya, Shinnok, Fujin and Rain
- Stages: Outworld Wasteland (not the beach we got now), Scorpion's Lair (from MKA), Shinnok's throne room/prison, Portal (MK2), Nethership (MK:DA), House of Pekara (Kenshi related)
- At least 1 new fatality per character, preferably more iconic than what we have now for some characters. Shang Tsung needs his Soul Steal, Quan Chi needs one where he actually uses his sorcery, Sonya needs her Kiss of Death (as does Kitana), etc...
- Friendships, just for the sake of nostalgia.
- More Story mode chapters (maybe an add-on that involves MK4's storyline).
That's about it I think. If I think of more, I'll come back.

since we get skarlet i want other rumor-like characters like hornbuckle. I'd also like to see tremor, cyber smoke and most importantly rain with his mkt moves and maybe some sort of teleport attack.
CYBERNETIK
CYBERNETIK’S COSTUME & ALTERNATE:
Cybernetik can have a cyborg look to his costume in black and grey with Rastafarian-like dreadlocks protruding from the back of his head. His body would be incased with a mildly thin layer of metal and several compartmental pockets for biological and chemical weapons to be stored. He’d also have a set of light bluish glowing eyes bearing similarities to IronMan or War Machine and he can have a synthetic auto-tuned voice. He can look much like Cyber Sub-Zero just in Black & Grey/Silver.
CYBERNETIK’S BACKSTORY:
Cybernetik was lead engineer of Shao Kahn’s technical laboratory who specialized in biological warfare and computer program/designing of Outworld technology. During the earlier times of Shao Kahn’s reign, he realizes in order to fully conquer the Earth Realm he would need to be able to control and understand Earth Realm’s technology. He then sends Cybernetik to Earth undercover in human disguise of a nerd and the alias name of “Pointdexter Wigglesworth”. Cybernetik locates to the Silicon Valley, and throughout his daily explorations absorbs information/programming templates and applications of various small electronic devices and computers. Frustrated with the lack of progress, he then decides to take on the challenge of gaining access to super computers, servers and power grids. He takes a full time job at well known powerful tech corporation under his given alias to absorb information of more complex technology. Often times through various conferences and international meetings, Cybernetik would visit some of the biggest technology firms Earth had to offer. He’d also visited the Pentagon and various international headquarters sites and would seize the opportunities to steal information from the most secure spots. Twelve years past, and fully satisfied of his newly gained knowledge of earthly technology, he returns to Outworld undetected. He reports to Shao Kahn his findings and begins work on designing specialized weaponry to be used in the course of battle. More than pleased with Cybernetik’s findings and work, Shao Kahn plans to use Cybernetik in his assault against the Earth Realm in Mortal Kombat.
CYBERNETIK’S SPECIALTY MOVES:
Rocket Blast Flight - Possesses the ability to fly from recycled system of rocket fuel stored inside mechanical makeup stored in back of cybernetic suit.
Shotgun Punch (directional) - Delivers a forceful jab with fists that dislodges from arm in a rocket blast like speed and strikes opponent then retracts back to arm.
Mini-Rocket - Compartment from forearm adjusts and launches a miniature sized missile towards opponent that upon impact detonates.
Eye Screen Barrier - From long range, glowing eyes shoots two light blue laser beams from ground to eye level that forms a rectangular door-like barrier that reflects opponent’s projectiles and also forms a temporary physical barrier to overly aggressive opponents advancing towards Cybernetik. Trying to advance through the given screen reflects opponent back off their feet, stumbling backwards and taking a small amount of energy off life bar.
Ether Dust - Blows a small amount of ether powder in the presence of opponent that when airborne, bursts into a small fire, burning opponent where they stand and leaving them open for more combos.
Oil Spill - From a compartment located in the chest region, shoots a stream of oil causing opponent that walks on it to loose footing and fall backwards on ground face up, and taking a small amount of energy off of life bar. Oil eventually seeps through ground and disappears.
Towering Punch - Mini-hydraulic systems located on the legs of suit, spring Cybernetik to mid-level heights on screen then decompresses giving Cybernetik leverage and gravitational momentum to descend down towards opponent in a closed fist to strike opponent in face from the sudden fall landing an impact hit on opponent and sending them crashing down to their back against the pavement and popping up to the air for more combos for Cybernetik.
Electric Lobes - From compartment in chest, shoots a series of electrical lobes towards opponent that once lodged, sends a voltage of electric shocks that pop like firecrackers through its attached wires. If not defended properly, Cybernetik’s opponent shakes and shivers from electrical current that travels throughout their body and falls to their knees leaving them paralyzed in stiffness on their knees. The wires then retract back into compartment in Cybernetik’s chest.

CYBERNETIK’S FATALITY:
Cybernetik programs a code in compartmentalized keyboard located on forearm and extends his forward arm to where a compartment located on chest opens and shoots a sticky rubbery like toxin on the face of opponent. The toxin eats through the flesh and bone on opponent’s face until it eats away the whole skull, neck and part of upper torso of opponent’s body then disappears, while lifeless body collapses on ground to twitch from life draining from corpse in a pool of blood.
CYBERNETIK’S WINNING POSE:
Programs a series of codes on mini-keyboard located on forearm then flies in slightly above ground the drops down on feet and executes a series of formations in martial arts.

RAIN (finished)
RAIN’S COSTUME & ALTERNATE:
Rain can be a Outworld ninja with similar but different attire than the rest of the iconic ninja characters. He can wear a purple hood, purple undershirt, purple loose fitting pants and shoes. Then he can have a black v-shaped vest, black clothed mask, and shin pads. His alternate can be that he wears a darker shade of purple in his hood, undershirt, pants and shoes. Then he can have black v-shaped vest, black clothed mask, wrists guards and shin pads. A picture of Rain’s costume can be similar to picture shown below just in reverse pattern with purple background and black vest and accessories on costume.
RAIN’S BACKSTORY:
Rain served as an one of Shao Kahn’s personal assassins some time before he came into prominence. And because of his loyalty to Shao Kahn he was chosen to retained his position even through Kahn’s infamous power. Though the numerous tournaments of Mortal Kombat were held under Shang Tsung’s supervision, Rain remained anonymously behind the scenes as a watchful guardian to report to Shao Kahn. Eventually with Kahn’s plans to merge realms of Outworld and Earthrealm, Kahn, foreseeing the conflict to come, decided to grant Rain with even more powers than before. Rain grateful with the entrusted power, pledged his services to him and Shang Tsung’s legion of assassins. Already familiar with Rain’s fighting skills, Shang Tsung gladly welcomed him into his newly appointed position. Rain now enters Mortal Kombat fully exposed as an agent of Outworld with allegiances to Shao Kahn and Shang Tsung.
RAIN’S SPECIALTY MOVES:
Rushing Wave - Body transforms into a forceful wave of water that crashes in a rainbow motion across the screen into his opponent. When wave hit’s the ground, he then transforms back into his regular human self.
Ground Puddle Uppercut - Melts down into a water puddle and crawls across the screen on the ground right in front of her opponent’s feet in swift motion. He then materializes into his human form in an uppercut motion to strike the jaw of his opponent.
Ground Puddle Kick - Melts down into a water puddle and crawls across the screen on the ground right in front of his opponent’s feet in swift motion. He then materializes into his human form in a spinning front snap kick motion to strike the jaw of his opponent.
Stretch Kick (directional) - From a distance across the screen he executes a side-stepping high rising side kick, to which his kicking leg stretches across the screen to his opponent. Pulling the rest of his body across the screen with his kicking leg.
Stretch Punch (directional) - From a distance across the screen he executes a body snapping front jab, to which his punching hand stretches across the screen to his opponent. Pulling the rest of his body across the screen with his punching hand.
Shape Shifting Defense - Body transforms into a casting of water liquid incased in his body shape. If opponent touches liquid mass, he shape-shifts into a different position morphing back into human form gripping the limb of her opponent with one hand. Then his free hand is able to land a series of hit combos along with his front leg for kick combos.
Skipping Rock - From a distance shifts into a liquid mass of water and in one swift motion skips across the ground, like a thrown rock skips across the surface of a pond. This would allow him to avoid attacks from his opponent while advancing into an offensive position for combos and other attacks.
Shooting Liquid Streams (directional) - From the palm of his extended hand, he shoots a forceful stream of water liquid across the screen into the face of his opponent. This would cause them to grimace in pain from the initial sting and leave them open for combos and attacks.
Garden Hoe Streams (directional) - Shoots two doubly potent streams of water liquid from both of his extended palms across the screen that pins his opponent against the wall of the screen. Once the flow of liquid stops, it leaves his opponent momentarily disoriented slumped over on one knee, resulting in a free shot for a series of combos/uppercuts or forceful blows.
Teleport - Transforms into a water mist, and teleports either horizontally across the screen, or vertically from upper portion of the screen.
Frozen Block of Ice - Extending his front arm forward from backend shoulder, shoots a stream of water from open palm that materializes into a frozen center block of ice to drop down on opponents head, momentarily disorienting them in their feet.
Invincibility - Body morphs into a human like incasing of water. Opponents’ physical hits and projectiles thrown flow right through him causing nothing but splashes until he morphs back into human form.
Frozen Handed Punch - In a quick motion morphs his punching hand into a frozen ice casing of his closed fist and executes a front snap jab distributing all his body’s weight into the punch giving his blow a more potent impact then morphing back into his human arm. This sends his opponent stumbling backwards.
Frozen Legged Sidekick - In a quick motion morphs his punching hand into a frozen ice casing of his kicking leg running into a side-stepping sidekick distributing his weight into the kick giving his kick a more potent impact. His leg then morphs back into his human leg. This sends his opponent stumbling backwards from the impact.
Flying Frozen Handed Punch - In a quick motion jumps in air, and while in mid-air cocks back his punching fist and morphs his punching hand into a frozen ice casing of his closed fist descending down towards his opponent giving his blow a more potent impact then morphing back into his human arm. This knocks his opponent off their feet backward from impact and momentum.
Flying Frozen Legged Kick - In a quick motion jumps in air, and while in mid-air snaps into a flying kick and morphs his kicking leg into a frozen ice casing of his kicking foot descending down towards his opponent giving his kick a more potent impact then morphing back into his human leg. This knocks his opponent off their feet backward from impact and momentum.

RAIN’S FATALITY:
Water Drowning - Walks over to disoriented opponent, grapples the oral region of opponent, with ninjas he peels off facial mask. He then unleashes powerful streamline of water in the mouth of opponent until streams of water shoots out every one of their upper orifices. Opponent scrambles from the drowning and eventually falls over lifeless from the grappling hand of Rain.
RAIN’S WINNING POSE:
Rain bows on one knee with head facing the ground in the same posture that football player prays in the end zone after a touchdown.
RAIN’S COSTUME & ALTERNATE:
Rain can be a Outworld ninja with similar but different attire than the rest of the iconic ninja characters. He can wear a purple hood, purple undershirt, purple loose fitting pants and shoes.

Well that's just bizarre... I thought that I started a thread about DLC that had alot of this stuff in it. Huh. Maybe my original post got lost when it was stickied? Oh well. No worries.
I thought that I voted already, but if my votes haven't been counted, here's what I'd like to see:
1) Mavado
2) Sareena
3) Fujin
4) Kira
5) New Character

I'm really glad with Kenshi, I always liked this character. He really stands out. I'm also glad for Skarlet, she is like Ermac in the sense that they made a character from a glitch. Aside from what we know by now about DLC, I would like :
- Shao Kahn : Cause he's badass and already in the game so make him playable.
- Goro : Same applies to Goro.
- Kintaro : Same applies to Kintaro.
- Cyber Smoke : Just like in MK3 with his trident.
- Rain : Obviously because he's the only missing playable character of the first 3 MKs. Roundhouse kick is a must.
- Fujin : Because he looks badass in Kratos' ending.
- Shinnok : Cause we see him in story mode and also he is more important storywise than say Jarek, Kai or Reiko. Most of the casual fans don't even recognize them, at least Shinnok was the boss in MK4.
- Tanya : Since Quan Chi is in there I'd put in another important MK4 character. And just like all the male pallette swaps made it to the game, same would apply with the female pallette swaps : Kitana, Mileena, Jade, Skarlet and finally Tanya in yellow.
- Nitara : Now a classic from MKDA. As the only vampire it makes her interesting, plus the game needs more female fighters.
- Bo'Rai Cho : If they are to include MKDA characters then a revamped Bo'Rai Cho could be acceptable because technically he was already part of the storyline during the MK1 events.
- Sareena : I wouldn't mind seeing her in the game.
- Frost : Same applies to Frost.
- Li Mei : Same applies to Li Mei. I would like to see her pressure points fatality revamped.
- Classic Jade Outfit : I would like it if she could have her fans and all.
-Motaro : Original four-legged MK3 Motaro would be awesome. I doubt he make it though.
- Cyber-Reptile Outfit : For lols, since he's already in the game somehow.
That's all I can think of for now...

My thoughts on DLC.
Already confirmed DLC:
Skarlet: Probably the one I'm most excited, which surprises me because I'm pretty turned off at the idea of introducing a new character, since the last 4 games didn't do so well in that area. She just seems like an interesting character so far and fits the MK universe nicely (probably because she's another female ninja :P).
Kenshi: One of the only post-MK trilogy characters I can tolerate. Never hated him or anything but never crazy about him like some people are.
"Kind of" confirmed DLC:
Cyrax and Sektor retro costumes: I love them, can't wait to download them. I mean I love their looks that they already have in this game (cyborg and human), but I'm a sucker for nostalgia like that.
Pre-order classic costumes for ninjas: Already have Scorpion, which I love. His Toasty fatality has never looked so great. Have Ermac as well, but I don't use it much because his other two costumes look so good. I want to get Reptile and Sub-Zero too for those classic fatalities. I also want the MK3 costumes for Mileena, Kitana and Jade. Pretty much if there's a retro look I want it.
DLC I want:
Stages:
The Portal (MKII) - Kind of surprised they didn't include this one, thought this one would show up a lot in story mode.
Kombat Tomb (MKII) - Another great stage, love to see the updated stage fatality too.
Warrior's Shrine (MK1) - Probably won't happen because it's kind of already in Shang Tsung's Garden's, but I wouldn't mind seeing the updated original.
Characters:
Rain - I'm not a big Rain fan at all, but I'd like to see him in so it completes the trilogy. Plus, it'd be nice to not have to hear Rain fans complain anymore.
Costumes:
Shang Tsung's MKII or MK3 look - Either one I'd be happy with, but mostly I want his MKII look. And it should actually look like it too, not that lame DA style alt. version.
Quan Chi MK4 look - I simply don't understand why they didn't put this in. His alt now is the same as his primary except with a red shirt and sash.
Sub-Zero MK3 unmasked - Needs to come out eventually.

Well that's just bizarre... I thought that I started a thread about DLC that had alot of this stuff in it. Huh. Maybe my original post got lost when it was stickied? Oh well. No worries.

When your DLC thread was popular, there was a large number of other duplicate voting threads popping up here and there. As a result, all DLC threads were closed after this sticky was made.

So I picked up where we left off on page 1. All the votes I collected from your thread are still accounted for.
