Exactly why characters like that need another chance. If they were given this amount of focus and detail, people would love them.

It's more of a goop, really. It even makes kind of a splash sound effect if you listen close.

Oh damn its like oil. you're right. Sometimes it has this powdery effect though. At the end you can clearly see its slimy and oily. Still, awesome.

The first thing that popped into my head. Noob looks good. Graveyard looks weird, I would've preferred a night time setting. Love the soulnado though (soulnado in a graveyard, I dig it)

So now we just need Kabal, Smoke, Sheeva and Rain to complete the 2D era roster. Hope those last two don't make it

Noob Saibot is a fucking monster, wow. He is by far the most revamped character so far in terms of gameplay. I seriously would've never imagined him fighting like that. Summoning a shadow clone to take down and beat/ vanish with opponent in a black hole, beat him, and Noob is chilling laughing is enginious. His disabler is back as well as his grab move from MKT, which shows that NRS means it when they say 'we want this to feel as if you're back into this era'

I love everything about his gameplay and the also the references to Sub-Zero's classic stance is a very nice touch, along with Sub's slide. His X-Ray is crazy, and definately one of the best. The back breaking/kick to stomach/vomit = pain.

Why is everyone SO against Sheeva and Rain making it? I think that's kind of selfish to hope someone doesn't make it in who deserves to be there just based on the fact that they were in the originals.

On a side note, I like the reference to Sub-Zero's slide. Niiiiice.

The shadow clone gimmick reminds me a LOT of Chizuru from the KoF games. I like Chizuru so yay, I guess.

I love the little "huh? huh?" nudge with Ermac and Noob tag teaming...
I'm also very glad I haven't seen any ninja stars.

Damn Noob looks sick, and his game play looks so intense. I can't wait to play him. Check out that throwback slide, I'm gonna use that so hard!

WTF? Why are you so against sheeva and rain?

You see what they did with Noob Saibot, that means that when done right the same could happen with Sheeva and Rain.

I hope they end up even cooler than Noob and then everybody will love Sheeva and Rain to death.

I hate how there are so many Noob Saibot fans now. There's going to be so many people playing as him!

I wouldn't worry too much...they have been making every character much better than before, well except for the females imo, so the fanbases of each chracter has gotten stronger. It's the awesome designs, awesome moves, and just unique feeling each character contains this time around, that really makes each one stand out. It's not just Noob that has gotten plenty of fans since being revealed in this new game, it's happened with just about all of them at one point or another.

Really, it just proves how great of a job they are doing with the characters this time.

When it comes to Mortal Kombat, I have no problem playing as every single character. They all for the most part appeal to me. Not like other fighting games like Tekken, in which I rarely play as someone other that Hwoarang.
