I like all his costumes. But my favorites are MKDA alt. and MKvsDC.

MKD Alt! the one from the comic book! that one was cool!!!

I hated his regular MKDA one tho... too bulky... and he looked like a hobo jesus.

Otherwise the old man in a purple dress would be awesome to have back.

I think his MKvsDCU look was by far his best.

I would LOVE to see old man Shang again for the FIRST TIME since MK1 (well.. in game anyway).. or maybe even for the FIRST TIME EVER playable.

Old man Shang Tsung....I used to hate that look when i first played Mortal Kombat I kept thinking how in the world is this old grandpa like character gain boss like status....

but now I think of it....Shang Tsung is living on serious borrowed time....the dude has been living for like 500 years and the only way he does it is by stealing souls....

The greatest look for him would be start off middle aged, then the more damage he takes, the older he starts looking, like his skin starts wrinkling his hair turns grey, his skins starts to sag,...dunno if they could pull this off, but that would be freakin awesome....

Hmmm... I loved his old MK2 look as well as his MK3. I also like the MKDA look as well.

Yeah, his DA primary is cool. I mean, he's a sorcerer, a wizard, a conjurer for Pete's sake! For once he looked like someone who can steal someone's soul and kick ass at the same time. Also, he looks Asian and not white (no racism just that his name and story is Chinese)! All the other ones just make him look like well...a stripper!

I agree look wise. The old man look might create problems for playability though if he is playable.

MK Vs. DC or DA ALT. Not the DA Santa Jesus.

MKDA default is far and away my favorite.

If his main look in MK9 is the Old man, I will be so stoked. And if they have his younger self as an alt, that would be perfect.

I liked how his face looked in MK:DA, but not his Little Red Riding Hood outfit. I'm glad that shit's gone (for now).

I liked his MKvsDC look, but I am VERY partial to his MK3 look, sans the yellow color of the pants. I'd vote for the MK3 look with black pants and gold accents.

But since the old Shang Tsung in the background looks very different than the previous models of old Shang Tsung, that's probably what we're going to get to play with (The MK team doesn't create new character models for unplayable characters). I think it's cool on one hand, because we've never been able to play as old Shang, but his senior citizen look isn't really my favorite.

There were some things I enjoyed about his MK vs DCU look. His head was great, the face was spot on and the hair/beard looked very cool.

While I prefer him in robes, I don't think having him in leather is a terrible thing. Since MK3 I've always seen him as very serpent-like, even if just from his stance and Animality. The leather chest armor would work really well for an alt costume, with the robes kept for his main attire.

Loincloths can go to hell though.

MK1. you should of seen his costumes on MKTE for GBA, he had like 8-10 alot. and they were really.....odd.

Well due to Shang Tsung being my favorite character I suppose saying that personally my favorite look is from MK v.s. DC would seem noobish and lame but that's my fave look!!!

I think the costume from Deadly Alliance looked awesome, if i had to choose, i'd choose that costume

MK vs. DC was probably the best in combining the whole "wizard" look with the general MK aesthetic and harkening back to his classic looks from MK2 and MK3. So yeah, MK vs. DC is my favorite design for me. Shaolin Monks did a good job of making the old man design look awesome, too.

His old look from MK1 is already confirmed to be him, and there is a picture of the old Shang in his new robes sitting.
